You'd better check your video card settings. I get about 100 less than you with my 7800GT.:)

Just noticed you ran the bench at 1024x768. Run it at defaults of 1280x1024 and see what you get.

  15. No magic, just tweaking and the NGO optimized drivers 5.13. The exact specs I ran to get the 4902 score were, 2.67Ghz CPU and 715/1646 on the card. I have since scored a little higher with the use of liquid cooling (DD maze 4 & thermaltake big water)

5567 @2.83Ghz CPU and 801/1840 on the card to be exact. I'm currently having a problem with connecting to orb, every time I try to connect, my browser (firefox 1.07) just hangs and won't load the page. I then have to restart my PC to get it to respond to anything. You don't have to believe me, I didn't come here for anyones approval, just to give all of the other users something to compare to. By the way you should check your driver settings as your score does seem a little low (are you forcing AA, AF..ect) at the very least try OC'ing your CPU a bit as that is where I saw the most performance gains.

U need to get atleast another 512MB of RAM to make it 1GB. I'am confident that u will get another 150-200 points with 1GB of RAM. My 6600GT scores around 1900+ with the latest drivers & 2200+ with Forceware v76.44 at 1024*768.

Just a small request. My GT is 128MB. Riatuner's system monitoring utility reports local video memory usage at 110MB and non-local ideo memory usage(AGP Aperture) at around 115MB when running 3DMark06. I see u have a 256MB card. Can u tell me whether ur card is able to make use of the 256MB when running this bench?

I already have the RAM part planned out, so soon I should be getting that 1GB. 150-200 more points... hmm, you've gotten me even more interested. To most this wouldn't matter, but every little increase is good for me. You think that some tests that run around 3 FPS would double, or atleast go a little smoother with that gig?

I'd love to answer your request, only I'm not quite sure how I can find that out.
