i have got the feeling that video ram speeds dont really matter that much in this test, 1200 to 1250 gave me no increase, can anyone confirm this?

When you see only have a dual- core allow you have better score.. what this crap thing..!!! it s a 3D test.. why they have include dual core CPU test in score?

I can't complain. The stock FX-57/7800GTX test system got 4000 even in the guru review tests. Saving about a thousand bucks and building an opty/gt system instead is nice. But still...what a torture test...

seems to be the two main factors in getting nice numbers in this test are having dual core cpu and a sli video. speeds between video cards (comparin g7800GTXs for example, make little difference.

the difference between 2.2ghz and 2.4 ghz for instance on the cpu side is also very small unless of course its between a single core and a dual core at those speeds.

2nd test with PEG link mode in the bois disabled gave me an extra 17pnts

    4724

tho for some reason they keep reporting my video card speed at 450mhz when its clocked to 490mhz. both the nvidia display driver control panel and rivatuner agree that its 490mhz. just not futuremark's site. any ideas on why that mihgt be?

You're right. I'm watching my fx57 getting raped on the cpu tests right now.

BTW my score bumped up to 7212 now.

maybe, but from what i read i should get the opposite affect. the delta clock should ADD 40mhz to the reported speed, not subtract. by that logic, even tho my core by nvidia's software says 490mhz, futuremark should report 530... no?

or do you mean that both rivatuner and the nvidia display drivers are showing the core clock + delta clock speeds, while futuremark is just showing the core speeds (no delta added)?
