I dont have that option in my BIOS, and my manual says that if the CPU does not support it, then the option will not appear. So i dont think my CPU supports it. And somehow im using a newer BIOS then the one in the manual, the one in the manual says 02 mine says 03........odd. I havent updated it.......

ahhhhhhhhh ok the board has HT available but the chip is not HT capable ..... got it ....... I have a p4 2.8 here that was pre HT too so that will explain why '06 says HT is available.

trust me when i say i completely understand about the bottlenecking. i got better scores in the other tests when i still had my s754 3700+ at lower clock speeds. waiting for an RMA.

SCORE: 4151 cpu@2757mhz & vid @ 500/1200. the sempy's 256kb L2 really puts a hurtin' on the 7800GT's full potential. now if i can get my replacement 3700+ to 2.6ghz i can garauntee a better score, a noticably better score. btw i didn't o/c the old 3700+ since i had difficulty getting it stable at 2.5ghz. a measly 100mhz overclock. running it stock for a while and one day it just died with every thing stock in the system.

Your chip is a northwood B with a 533 FSB running at 2.66ghz stock. The only Northwood B with a 533FSB to support HT was the 3.06ghz model so yours doesn't support it mate :)

    SM 3.0 Score 1102 Marks

    CPU Score 775 Marks

    Oh yes! I got:

I kind of cheated....I put the resolution down to 1024x768. The performance is completely noticeable between 1024x768 & 1280x1024, at least 5+ FPS most of the time!
I'm surprised at my CPU score! I also did all the extra 'Feature Tests' and 'Batch Size'....

I am drooling....hopefully I'll be getting 2.2GHz 100% stable on my processor that'll increase the score alot.

wow, great score pman. that hyperthreading is really put to use here.
and it seems 3k is easily possible for a 6800.

-edit- can you run the test without ht? i wonder what kind of benefit it provides.
