He has a Dual Core.
With my 6800GT @ 385/1100 and X2 4400+ @ 2.51GHz, it gave me a score of 2751.
SM2.0 - 1071
HDR/SM3.0 - 983
The great thing about a new version of 3DMark is that it always makes your graphics-card look pathetic no matter how good it is, except perhaps those guys who have managed to post scores just over 10K with a pair of highly overclocked 7800GTX512s who ran the game benchmarks at around 30fps. I think my 6800GT will suffice a little while longer for playing current games at decent settings though, so I won't rush out and buy a pair of X1900XTX or 7800GTX512 cards tomorrow
Im soo good with CS2 lol. Would be a nice score though..............lol
/me thinks that 99999 score might not be entirely genuine
Downloading again.....at 120kb~ per sec......20kb more than last night. Also using firefox so hopefully I'll be able to resume it via the download manager if I lose the connection!!
Heres my best so far, Oced to 400/700 got over 2k:
You might want to enable Hyper-threading as the CPU test in 3DMark06 is multi-threaded and should benefit from it.
Now that is interesting ...... your orb link doesn't work btw you need the comparison link, what was your cpu score? Did you kill all background processes? image quality to high performance? What resolution was that at? What driver?
I'm so interested because on my last run I got 2816
EDIT: added last bench run settings
I scored better again, unfortunately i had to test it with stock speeds since my processor makes 3dmark06 crash when i OC it to 2200mhz(200x11) @ 1.719v.
I made it by OC'ing my R9600PRO from 400/446 to 459/514, i score an amazing 474
3DMark Score 474 3DMarks
SM 2.0 Score 223 Marks
SM 3.0 Score N/A
CPU Score 745 Marks
500 Marks await me XD
Are these scores from using the basic or advanced download?
mine is basic US$19.95 for advanced
Just waiting for Hilbert to send my keycode with his free give away
30 odd mins left then I'll post my score with my Sempron and X850XT :O I also will add that my card is a bit bottlenecked and I'll run the test at 1024x768...(bought advanced cause had some spare money!)
Not that my system is much to brag about...this benchmark has nearly destroyed it...I have to shed a tear.:frown:
Dont be a wuss, run it @ 12x10 like everyone else should do!!! Otherwise there's no point in posting a score, its non-comparable, not apples top apples, comprende?
It says that HTT is available but it is disabled, and theres nothing in the BIOS sayin anything about it, so i dont think i have HTT.
If i could enable HTT would my CPU to be stable at 3.2GHz? Would HTT effect how far it OCs?
A wise decision to keep it......u won't regret it. My policy is this "If it ain't broke, don't fix it". The 40-50 extra bucks that a 6800GS will cost, will serve better purpose when it is spent on the big PCI-E changeover/upgrade. Good Luck!!! And nice 3DMark06 score u posted in the other thread.
if someone would test it with an fx57 or similar system to mine i would be very happy ... i would like to compare tests, thanks...
It's in the bios .........advanced tab >cpu configuration > Hyperthreading Technology [enabled] [disabled]
Page 4-17 in my manual should be similar in yours
EDIT: OK the p4p800 X, VM & MX don't appear to support HT so if you have one of those I guess it wont be in the bios. Seems strange 06 says it's available though, what board do you have exactly?
