No matter what game I try, Enemy Territory Quake Wars Beta, Quake 4, Fear Combat, Warrock......It shows my Free video memory as 508-509mb, Free texture memory ~1 gig(I'm assuming this means my ram). Even with maxed out settings in the games it never uses more than 3-10 mb vram. Could anyone explain this?? I decided to try ATT after reading about someone getting the same results(seemingly impossibly small memory usage), while playing ET:QW Beta with ATT monitoring. Any help would be awesome.

    Odd VRAM Usage

It would help if you could tell with operating system you are using. I never monitored my VRAM usage but it seems strange if not wrong that only 10Mb VRAM is actively used when about 1Gb is available. Many textures are loaded into the VRAM when playing Quake IV; so what you are explaining sounds impossible to me. Maybe the textures are loaded on your harddrive and/or RAM. But I don't know anything about these stuff so I'm just guessing!

Oh... I filled it out in my info, but it doesn't seem to display it with my other specs, I'm using Winxp media center 2005.Yeah, it is quite strange, and other people are experiencing the same thing, according to someone else's post on the ET:QW beta forums.

ATT shows VRam and texture memory information using DirectX functions, so if it doesn't show correct value this is not ATT fault, but DirectX itself

Hmmm....maybe it doesn't work for openGL games.
