Today we peek at an updated Vertex SSD called 3.20. We review this  OCZ Vertex 3.20 SSD and it really is a nice and fast piece of technology this is. A 20nm NAND flash SSD that is speedy amongst the... OCZ Vertex 3.20 SSD gets tested
Thanks for the article Hilbert. The SandForce 2281 based drives are pretty darn reliable now and this is a nice middle of the road offering. I have to pose one question... why the heck is HD Tune used in SSD reviews? HD Tune just recently added SSD to its "HD Tune Pro is a hard disk utility with many functions" description. It really is a lousy utility for SSD.
I'm just curious... is it just that OCZ has notoriously bad quality, or do all SSD's have a relatively high failure rate? I see on newegg (of course most reviewers are probably idiots) that the OCZ drives are generally rated pretty poorly compared to other manufacturers.
I find my SSD much more reliable than HDDs in similar usage. I have mostly Crucial M4 SSDs ( 7 in total ), one 64GB Version working under SQL Database load, after 1 years HDDs started to generate read errors. There is NON on SSD and performance i superb.
Got two OCZ Vertex 3's one in my laptop and the other in my main rig as boot drive they have been great no complaints.
