Looking around at different SSD's has anyone used the OCZ Agility 3 series SSD's 60gb & 120gb if so were they any good & would you recommend them
Ocz ssd 120 Hi yes i have one that i just bought a week ago and no problems with it at all ..it is however faster then a normal drive as i hav e tested it with atto disk bench mark version 2.46/... There is a difference in speed
Agility 3 (120) for about 3-4 months now, not missed a beat since the initial install, upgraded to the 2.22 firmware and still running fine too. Even in my sataII environment it performs really well.
^^ same here mate, had my agility 3's for a few months now, never had a single problem. running 2 x 120gb in raid0, using sata II connectivity as well [as thats all my board has lol] .... this bench was done with less than 20% free space, so the speeds could well be slightly better when having more free space to juggle with, and of course running these using a full sata III controller should further yield some nice higher numbers too .... all in all im very happy with the agility 3's, especially regarding their recent price drops on certain sites now, so performance for cost is pretty inviting hope this helps mate
Same here, im happy with my 120Gig Agility 3, boots windows 7( with nothing else to load, i.e. completely loaded ) in ~30 seconds.
