You mean from Diablo II? :3eyes: Anyways, here's mine. Just started playing as well. Here's the direct load order for mine. Tested and cleaned in Wrye Bash. Companions with the Companion Sound Sets mod, is pretty damn awesome. Not bad for having only a handful of mods. I spend more time loading these damn things instead of playing. :bawl:
Unecessary Violence works great alongside Deadly Reflex 5 (And that realistic gore retext, called just "gore".), just don't use the mod in your first post ( DMC Stylish - Animation Replacer ) as it's ment to use original animations plus extra custom animations as a addon. Not much I can say to help, I use a ton of mods but it's quite complex and I barely remember all of what I use by now. (There's several thousand mods, I've downloaded the majority of replacers wether it's textures, meshes or similar plus a ton of others, quite messy and the game is getting quite big in terms of file size, 10+ GB actually.)
ok this Unecessary Violence it reads to be complicated to setup can u confirm if i need to edit scripts or is it just download the needed content and install, also how do u actually do all these moves is it like a button combo or auto done depending on the time and battle
Just get OBMM (Oblivion Mod Manager) and install it, then install the mod. It should guide you through the installation process once it copies over all of the items. Everything is in the yellow section of the readme on that page. Everything is explained in the readme and instructions of the file when you download it. If you haven't got OBMM you really should. It makes managing your mods 100 times easier. Also, if you mess up a mod, all you have to do is double-click the mod and it'll reinstall clean again. Just keep an eye on texture replacers and such. Sometimes if you overwrite textures and replace them with other mods, it gets really messed up. I spent the last two weeks uninstalling and reinstalling the game because of this. It just got way too overwhelming with all of the texture mods and I screwed something up. Just make sure to read the readme files and instructions and you should be perfectly fine. In most cases, they explain what the mod has conflicts with, so do not ever skip reading them.
Also, don't forget to force 8XMSAA and 16XAF through CCC, since this game doesn't use any AF, and it doesn't support HDR and AA at the same time (unless you force).
Depends on some mods as well. Since I'm using the Depth of Field mod, the only way to get it to work is if I disable AA (as stated in the readme). I can live with it though, since the framerate tradeoff vs the awesome eye candy is a no-brainer. Not to mention I don't have to load 4096 LOD mod for the distant textures which more than doubles the performance right there. With the Qarl Texture Pack 3 (or the Redimized version), and the mesh optimizations, it's pretty damn smooth. I can constantly load tons more visual mods that deal with the immediate vicinity instead of what's 50 miles away from me that I'll never see or even get to. Absolutely love how moddable this game is.
ow boy ok i seem to be crashing on exiting the game and also as soon as the game loads, is their a mod app to check and correct conflicts ?
OBMM, Wrye Bash - they all can check for conflicts. Best bet is probably BOSS here. What this does is arranges yoru mods by loading order that's checked against a predefined checklist. Awesome, aweosme program. Make sure you read it thoroughly first. Although BOSS changes the load order, it will nto fix your conflicts. That's what OBMM and Wrye Bash is for. Pay attention to the square icons in the right-hand panel in OBMM, and you should be fine.
OK i use this app and used the updated the list to the Masterlist Update 3rd August 2009, any how it rearranged them so i will give it ago and see what happens, p.s. whats the FCOM only masterlist, also i only have oe thing in the right hand side pannel and this is the new conflict thing test
post some screenies in the screenshot thread Damien when your done modding it,ive not played it in ages would love to see what new mods add to it.
I don't use FCOM. I just use BOSS, OBSE, OBMM and Wyre Bash since those are the only ones I need. The Red tags are BAD. Other than the Unofficial Oblivion Patch (which they state WHY it's red in the readme), those other ones can cause problems. You have Shivering Isles installed but you don't have the Unofficial Shivering Isles patch installed, either? How about the Unofficial DLC patches? You need to re-read the Francesco's Mod guide. You don't need to enable most of them. From what I see, you're enabling the mod without any extra resources to support it like the extra items and monsters. If you haven't downloaded it, don't enable it. And why are you using OOO with Francesco's anyway? Pick one or the other, or use an OMOD that has them combined so they won't conflict with each other. Also, there's a ton of dupes like with the Ren's mod. Try to find an OMOD that has them combined, or try disabling them and enabling them one by one to figure out which one the culplrit is. With as many mods Oblivion has, it's impossible to tell you exactly what's wrong with your setup. You need to thoroghly read the guides the modders post - it's for your own good. It may be a pain in the ass to have to reinstall the game if you mess up, but that's the nature of the beast. Make sure the version you're downloading is compatible with your game version. For instance, you NEED to patch the game to 1.2.0416 for some mods, after you install Shivering Isles.
