Oblivion HDR + AA?

that doesn't look any different than what i get running it with 0 mods

ok i looked at those texture mods....they are more detailed but i never really noticed a lack of detail as i'm too busy running around to stare at a tree 5 virtual miles away

 

It looks much much better actually, Quarls new texture pack is just amazing.

Maybe these before & after.gif's will give u a better idea... may take a couple of mins to load though.

They are 4096x4096 textures compared with 1024x1024 on original oblivion. IMO this game looks stunning, especially once u've modded it a bit

The texture pack you need is Quarls Texturepack 3. Get the link from here:

They are the essential ones that sort out the horrid distance LOD, and also improve the texture quality vastly. A warning though, on a 256mb card, you may get some serious slow down using Quarls Texture pack. again, post in the Oblivion thread if u get issues like this.

All the other mods are optional, just try the ones u fancy. I like the immersive interface mod, which makes the HUD alot more streamlined and less clunky, for example.
