I have a Hynix P31 1TB NVMe SSD in an ASUS PRIME-X470 PRO motherboard (6063 BIOS). I have the NVMe in the top M.2 slot, and my 6600 XT GPU in the top PCI-E slot right below that M.2 slot. I'm on Windows 10 21H2. BIOS SATA mode is set to AHCI, and I'm using the Standard NVMe controller driver. HWiNFO shows my NVMe in 2x mode. I don't remember when I last checked, but I'm pretty sure it was showing as 4x at some point. Any ideas? I'm sure it should be running 4x?
Well that was easy I just re-seated it and got it showing 4x. I figured I'd be running into file errors or the drive not showing up at all instead of just reducing the speeds and working fine if a re-seat fixed it.
