My nephew was watching a YouTube video last night using Internet Explorer 11 on Windows 10 (as I am not signed in to YouTube on that browser) and I experienced my first TDR "driver has crashed and recovered" error in many months. I would have have been alarmed if it happened during a game but while watching a video on a browser...? :bang:

God, I hope that hasn't come back with this driver!!! :3eyes:

Driver very good, the best a long time.

  6. hey so from what i read the driver is supposed to be superb ?? how is it in direct comparsion to the 356.04 dev driver ? this is the one i'm using and so far its the best driver since the gta5 driver for me but ofc its far from perfect and therefore i'm looking for an even better one mh.

any downsides with this driver ? any reason why nvidia took it off their page ?

I tested both and for Kepler on Windows 7 definitely the 356.04 are best (GTX 660 Ti 3 GB Factory OC'd) they are rock solid and smooth. On the other hand when I use my main gaming rig (4790K + GTX 970) it's the 358.70 drivers getting the edge based on performance of newest games on Windows 10, hope this helps you somewhat.

Seems the issue with the drive I had was from Windows 10 3rd monitor bug thing it does, not cause of the driver :)

  10. i agree. haven't tested 358.70 but bought witcher 3 yesterday and its supersmooth with the 356.04 on win7 :D i'm amazed how unbelievably smooth it is.. only 30fps ghosting but thats normal and impossible to fix. otherwise not even the slightest stutter and constant 30fps with high/ultra combo settings (without nvidia gameworks features unfortunately) on 1080p
