Nvidia working on a fix for GTX 1080 latency problem

    The same happened to me. It drove me nuts!! Stuttering in IL2 1946 Mod and CloD Mod! Just got back to my Titan X BIOS mod and is smooth as glass!! Please, fix this ASAP!! Or I´ll return the Gigabyte GTX 1080 G1 Gaming!

    You must not notice it...... because when i have g-sync enabled and it should be crystal smooth i see stutters !.

    I even get cracking audio when i play cities skylines

    guys i really didnt heared anything about 10X0 stuttering !!! where can i read about this ? gimme link plz

    guru3d reviews ( 1070/1080 fcat benches ) says pascal gives very smooth gaming!!!!

    i sold my 290 ... and its time to upgrade to 1070 gaming x / strix or 1080 ref ( here 1070 non ref and 1080 ref are almost same price! LOL )

    This latency spikes give me stuttering in games and cracking audio !

    With all the frequency switching on the fly.

    Seems to be the case actually...

    He disabled the card in Windows so its only using standard VESA driver.

    I just noticed something, I got a 144hz monitor, when i set my refresh rate back to 60hz the smoothness is back ! when i set 120 hz or 144 hz the stuttering comes back.

    wtf nvidia !

    I have tried everything really, i reinstalled windows like 5 times with 10 different driver version of everything, i flashed my GPU and mobo to latest bios, and result is always same.

    I'll be very honest the Titan also looked full of stutters but yeah the first video was something else...

    My 1080 is nothing like that first vid - I just checked with valley

    Same settings I think - Ultra, 8x, 1080p, no fullscreen.

    Just did a quick benchmark run

    My card is clocked quite a bit lower than his though, it started off around 2088Mhz and ended at 2038Mhz - this thing keeps down clocking as temps rise, which is annoying because temps are so good. I personally would like to see the card NOT start downclocking until 70C

    If they will not fix this i will be pissed off..... jsut changed from a radeon because i was having a lot of problems with 390.... and now this


    We need someone to revive 3dfx
