series are also compatible with gtx 590?
It will happen no matter what at any frame rate be it under or above refresh rate.
how i hate tearing. reminds me of the bloody xbox360 which has allot of games that have it
great driver so far for my gtx 460 768. the new features work.
got 3550 in 3Dmark 11.
It says ALL graphics cards! So I guess so........
Loving the gaming more than ever, rocking with nvidia inspector frame rate limiter at 118fps games are smooth as hell. Not going to upgrade my gpus for awhile, maybe in q4 2012. Cant wait to see what GK110 offers in the game table.
I added the complete list of all the 296.10, so in theory it should work.
@Spets - Bad wording on my part I think... I know that there are games coming out that will support TXAA for Kepler and Fermi cards but currently there is no way to try it out unless NVIDIA release a tech demo to showcase it. In fact, I'm very disappointed that there aren't any GTX 680 demos as the GTX 480/580 had quite a few, including the Super Sled, Alien and City ones. Does anyone know of any GTX 680 demos?
Judder, blur and artifacts can occur, but not tearing.
Might look like tearing but must have another term since there is a technical difference.
No. Tearing happens because frames are out of sync. You see for example part of old and new frame. Higher frame rate than refresh rate usually just makes it worse.
It has nothing to do with blurring.
Ah, yeah no way of testing it yet but NV are planning on brining out tech demo's, one is the dynamic fracture, I'm sure it'll be followed by a couple more demo's. Looks like a new Dawn demo will be out too.
need modded inf for win 8 public beta.
wtf are you on about? who mentioned purchasing a driver???, I certainly didn't. And "why have a dog and do you own barking" is a saying. It means why do it yourself when someone else can do it for you. A hell of a lot of people come to this site and read nothing, learn nothing or check nothing. IOW theyre lazy. On the other hand the others that come to this site that CBA to do things (like mod their own drivers ) are either noobs or just inexperienced..
And tbh, anyone who has their location set to "in your girlfriend" deserves a touch of sarcasm.
Think they are redoing Dawn.
Why dont you guys try the SMAA injector on Ultra for GTA V ?
I was using it with my last 580 3gb in that game, worked wonders.
I know its cool to test out these new features in a driver, but id be very surprised if driver FXAA is as good as SMAA.
Now im with ATI and ive been testing the new MLAA 2.0, vs SMAA in BF3
SMAA still wins in IQ tests, but MLAA 2.0 is not far behind and this time has no blurring ! Plus its less of an fps hit than SMAA.
I'd be interested to see what this new driver level FXAA looks like with a Kepler if somebody had got some time to some shots.
They are right Mineria.
If at any time 2 (or more) frames appear on the same screen refresh, you get tearing.
Without matching the start of a screens refresh with the drawing of frames, you can get part of an old frame on screen when a new one is being drawn.
3-way SLI GTX580 to 2-way SLI GTX680, wow. Anything you couldn't play with three 580s?
If you don't know what to do with too much money, I could send you my Palpal ID
installed fine using the inf file in the rar file on page 1. Thanks
then the driver won't pass driver signing enforcement. you'll have to create and sign a new cat file too. you can search the interwebs for a how to. i've come across a few but have been too lazy to try it out.
No it wasn't - D3D on XBOX1 supported this feature even...
