Tried Batman Arkham Asylum benchmark, 1fps more compared to last WHQL :)

120hz monitor so I set vsync adaptive and the half option to keep temperatures down. Works fine so far...

Agreed, copy-paste two lines from another driver .inf and it works fine.

Are they planning to release these for the GTX500 cards without having to modify any file?

I would like to try them, but I have no idea how to install them. :(

Adaptive VSync (half mode) works great with Batman-AA, but not with Crysis 2, huge huge input lag. And this is interesting, it works fine IF Crysis 2 is run on window mode!

    I have 120hz monitor.

UPDATE: Deus EX- HR and adaptive vsync = slight input lag vs vsync at 120fps and frames limited to 60 with MSI Afterburner.

On the 1nd page (at the bottom), I put INF, unzip the drivers and put INF in Display.Driver folder with the replacement. Install drivers.

Is there any commentary, anywhere, about which new features work on what older video card? I've gotten cowardly of late, and have been sticking to the certified drivers: What would 301.10 do for me, and my three different cards, across two systems, to get me to go ghetto enough to use them? :3eyes:

Are these fully compatible with my 3-Way SLI?

Will try them out, thanks a lot.

@Goose; Essentially, you get Adaptive Vsync (and Half Refresh Rate option) as the main feature you gain.
You can control FXAA usage from the NVCP, rather than using Inspector.
I've also noticed that Max-pre rendered frames defaults to Application controlled rather than 3. (another small detail, not sure how this affects anything)
Lastly TXAA, and some dynamic frame-rate control will be added via plug-in, is what I got out of it anyway.

Well, judging by the reviews of people who have SLI in the profile, everything works fine) Even if there are problems you can easily go back to 296.10.

Hmm I just installed 301.10 modified the INF and made some benches.

    I used Unigine Tropics V1.3.

    I ran it at: 2560x1600 Shaders:High Anisotropy: 16 Anti Aliasing: 8x.

    Usually I get 2048 points.
I got the same points with 301.10 as expected.
Then I disabled AA in unigine and set the FXAA in the driver.
Visual quality was good, not exceptional but good.
    Points raised to: 3156.

Then I tried both AA and FXAA.

Points obviously went down to: 1959.
I expected much less to be honest.

I have to make some checks but with FXAA the cards ran hotter by about 5 degrees.

Also idle temps seem higher but I have to check that again since today is a warm spring day here.

Update: checked them.. it was my room temp (that raised idle temps) but FXAA indeed raises the cards by a few degrees.

Same here (although I'm sure its safe); I've got 2 puppies inbound on Friday. Newegg still has the evga's and msi's available (last time I checked a couple of minues ago). Hope that adaptive vsync is not going to be problematic?

edit - only the msi are available now.

Using FXAA Tool is still better option, cause FXAA that NVIDIA driver does is pretty blurry overall, you cant alter any details unlike in FXAA Tool.

If anyone needs it here is the inf file for Windows 7 64 bit.

    http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1587166/nv_disp.inf

Copy and overwrite the one inside "Display.Driver" directory (once unpacked the driver EXE file using winrar, 7zip or any other archiver)

MLAA VS nvidia fxaa, nvidia wins.
FXAA doesn't blur as much, and it doesn't cut your frame rate in half.
    Nice

How do you turn on TXAA for a game? I only see FXAA option in the Nvidia Control Panel.
