lol, what am i missing, Google Translate isn't coming up with the best translations ever, funny ones, but not easy to decipher.

EDIT: So reading around there are claims that an Nvidia paid someone to go on Forums and spread information to websites, and that is where this info came from.

I remember when the 6970's got released and someone kept PM me with leaks about them, it sounded plausible, but i wasn't willing to even create a post about it, so i'm finding it hard to believe someone, even CD would create a front page article about it.

Viral internet, lol. There are companies who will give 25000 postings on forums to sell your product and it will cost you 250 euro's. We need more tech strong people in here instead of fanboys.

I wish this site would censor the word fanboy...It's an overused term for people that can't come up with a better argument to defend their own brand preference. Ugh.

Censorship is never a good thing imo. Some sites already censor certain language like **** ect which is funny to me. Actually it isn't funny to me and pisses me off big time what what ya gonna do about it.:bang:

    You're not missing anything.
People are reading from Google Translate what ever suits them.

Chiphell was not the basis for any major GK104 rumor to being with.
It was Charlie D. who set AMD kooks on the rampage.

After seeing 2 Kepler cards in action and writing Nvidia wins handily

I think people are Noisiv, as i can't see where it claims that.

Charlie D. is not what i call a reliable source, is he corrupt..maybe, stupid...nope.
While i wouldn't put it past him to accept money from Nvidia to hype up Kepler, copy and pasting rumours from members on a Chinese forum seems unlikely.

He didn't substantiate his claims and the whole viral world is believing the claims. What else is new nowadays?

    ^^

I was about to post the same thing, just saw it here

    http://www.overclock.net/t/1205407/...discovered-at-chiphell-kepler-rumors-debunked

    Yeah sounds fail xD

But you would need at least 900-1000cores to get that compared to 580gtx.. 285gtx had 240cores so it was 1:2, but i really doubt that this Gk104 will fill that gap.

    Its Kepler full 1024core (GK110 or GK100) job to replace high-end Fermi 512core GF110 580gtx.

I'm a G3D regular. The people that like facts not BS. Very nice from you to claim I'm a whatever regular. Still, I like facts, not viral BS like you're creating now.

Edit: this is what's wrong nowadays, people claiming without any source or measurements. Noisiv. I dare you to prove your claims about me being a regular over at SA. 1000 bucks in it for you.

That does not give you the right to acuse me of being part of some forum and spreading those things. I did not post that so try to keep an objective mind about things.

Edit: reread my post, it was not only aimed at Charlie, but the internet as a whole and the sheep following the virals.

S|A regular? Through how many more posts do you plan to drag that?
It was a figure of speech, because you sounded to me like one.

I am sorry if I offended you by linking you to S|A.

    Never mind, appologies exepted :)

Edit: ever read this: burden of proof?

It basically says that when you claim something the burden of proof is on you. Claiming for the opposite after that is not an option, but that's only in the real scientific world.

somewhat true... though he has compared the wrong cards. He should of compared 7970 with the 5870 not 6970. as his comparison 285 vs 580 are refresh verses refresh arcitecture. so logically new core vs new core is better - and provides a more realistic picture of scalability.
