Isn't that asynchronous transfer queue only for Pascal cards? Since it's close to Pascal release I wouldn't be surprised if Pascal code starts showing up in the driver releases.

Cheers Nvidia! Will test Chopper and see if the bug still exists. Nice one!

EDIT: Now tested Chopper and Fish demos. Both are broken with this driver.

Anyone know of other vulkan demos that work particularly with this driver?

That relates to the PCIe controller capability in the GPU to exchange data streams in full-duplex mode with the host.

Just tested these drivers, and they are awesome! :)

Tested Witcher 3, Batman Arkham Knight, Rise of the Tomb Raider DX12, and Gears of War Ultimate Edition and they all ran better than on the previous 364.72 drivers.

Would be interesting to see whether these get better performance on Quantum Break, if anyone that has that game wants to test it.

I'm impressed by the speed at which NVidia is improving their drivers lately. Can't wait to see what features the next big update will enable.

Rise of the tomb raider very high 1080p

No game update's but better dx 12 performance for now vs dx 11 performance.
With driver 164,72 it was avg wors with dx 12.

    dx11 avg 106,55fps
    dx12 avg 112,19fps

Edge browser even runs faster on these drivers.

And before anyone laughs, remember that Edge uses GPU hardware acceleration and WDDM 2.0.. :)

Any browser on Windows 10 that uses hardware acceleration will use WDDM 2.0. Some browsers are much better than others when it comes to GPU acceleration though.

From my experience, Edge has the best hardware acceleration by far of any browser; including Chrome. I guess that shouldn't be surprising though since Microsoft developed both WDDM 2.0 and Edge. Firefox has one of the worst implementations.

As for Fermi dxdiag, I don't know since I don't have a Fermi GPU anymore.. Actually that's a lie. I have an old GTX 460 laying around somewhere, but no way in hell I'm going to install it just to see if these drivers enable DX12 on Fermi GPUs.

I really doubt these drivers enable DX12 on Fermi though. If they did, NVidia would have put it in the release notes.

I have wddm2.0 and dx11.3 on my Fermi GT630M with this driver
