Just found this while browsing for Vulkan information. link for Windows 10 64 bit is here:

    https://developer.nvidia.com/38884-win10-64bit

fixes missing vulkan option if you use RPCS3. also running benchmarks right now will report back with results later in the day.

for Odin's beard, just upgraded to 390.65  (always sticked to vulkan beta branch since long 'til that release)
do you mind to check out its decoding performance [dxva2/madvr/etc] rather than pure benchmarks? ty

Might as well stay on 390.65 as it has security fixes for Spectre Variant 1.

Going by that the 388.84 release only contains support for conservative rasterization for Vulkan.

I don't know which Vulkan runtime the main driver is using though but the changelog shows that the runtime was updated to 1.0.61.0 in September so that's plenty of time for the current drivers to have updated to a similar or newer version already.
(Such as 1.0.65.0 / 1.0.65.1 though that one only fixes a few issues with the runtime installer itself.)

Though perhaps much like the main driver releases from AMD and NVidia there can be other tweaks and changes not listed. :)

Which that kinda points at, although it depends on what version of Vulkan the mainline drivers are using.
(Though it seems unlikely they would be almost half a year behind.)

It shows vulkan api 1.0.66.0, but included installer is 1.0.65.0.
Will keep it, Rocket League runs perfectly smooth again, like in 388.71.

Ok so I tested mostly cpu limited games; RE6, FFXIV heavens ward, ROTR dx12, 3dmark api, 3dmark FS and its so far the best driver out of the bunch.

ROTR, avg is around the same at ~126, but min fps is in low 70's by all three tests, 390.xx or 388.71 had one or all three in 50's.

DX api test had the best single threaded dx11

Also FS is back to 20K, a lot had for some reason 19.8K by gpu
    https://www.3dmark.com/compare/fs/14747080/fs/14730907
by actual fps its minimal, not worth mentioning.

Overall it looks very interesting, that extra 10K single threaded dx11 calls per frame could do some magic, its the highest so far, think one time it was almost 2.70m, use to be in 2.45-2.50ish for a long time.

    edit:
I've ran some extra tests and by all its a little faster, Batman AK, Metro2033 LL, Hitman Absolution., by all best min fps, avg 1-3fps faster.
