Nvidia to 'control' AIBs custom RTX 2080/Ti reviews

    Cant recall Nvidia withholding review samples from major sites. They may have, just not aware of any. With AMD, seems they've done it with a couple sites at least:

    Really stupid of any manufacturer to do this as review sites can just buy or obtain samples elsewhere. What Nvidia seems to be doing with RTX cards though is making it more difficult for 'non-approved' or independent reviewers to do that by restricting driver distribution. This can be difficult to get around if drivers can only be downloaded directly from protected sites to specific machines as mentioned by [H] (if true).
