Thats great news, because i should have my brand new 8400GS PCI 512MB card in a few days
I was wondering when that was going to happen, now if we can just get more games to support it.
This is off subject, but is your computer for real? A 90 watt powersupply?! 600MHZ processor?! How can you even run today's software?
well finally geez
Good thing that they do specify that it's going to be for all capable cards. I wish my G80 GTS 640MB could use PhysX, and from what I know it can't.
I think the same here bro , we need more games to support it.
Heres another article http://www.maximumpc.com/article/news/nvidia_soon_release_whql_certified_physx_drivers
Your card supports physx! All 8,9,gtx series supports physx. And your card is an 8 series card.
It's already here...
NVIDIA PhysX System Software WHQL

It doesn't support 8800's :3eyes:
Hmm this one was released in June, I believe the article is talking about a new one supporting g80 cores
thats great news
that there will be new physx driver ;>
about time to ;>
expected it more early tough ;>
That's all nice and dandy but if it's still limited to benching Vantage and playing UT3 it's useless..
Surely he jests!
I downloaded "Cellfactor Revolution" and "Warmonger" before Nvidia decides to slap a price tag on them when their new driver is released.
Cellfactor Revolution: http://www.gamershell.com/download_19042.shtml
Of course if you want to play these games decently, you'll have to wait for the new drivers to come out in August. And even then I don't know how well they'll run.
Thanks for the links, Whiplashwang, but the one for Cellfactor Revolution wasn't working (at least not for me). This one is, for anybody who is interested:
So far it is... I didn't notice any difference in Mass Effect for instance..
