It's fine for me in Source. Perhaps it's that dual GPU thing.

Just installed this driver. Did not try any games except BC2 so far. Runs very smooth. Also I thing IQ is better than 257.21 Everything looks crisp and clear.
Cant this to install with 480 and W7. Locks up on me.
Sh!t driver. My LCD blacked out and lost signal while watching a H264 movie. Have to do a hard reboot. Never ever have this problem before.
I think the story of these drivers can be summed up with: If you want to enjoy Crysis at the highest settings, download these immediately. If you can do that anyone, or you don't care to, stay away.
Sounds about right. Though Metro 2033 is running really well for me. I can actually play it maxed out on my system with AA off. Though the fps drop to 25 fps occasionally it's still oddly smooth, not stutter at all. These are some strange drivers for sure.
Do you get the same corruption I had in that screenshot a page or so back?
Also, it's crazy, when Crysis is running around 50FPS, how my gameplay completely changed. It was like I had taken speed and I was darting between trees, cloaked, picking them off, running up on them grabbing, throwing into each other. Very freaking crazy Rambo style stuff with such high FPS>
I actually didn't see any artifacts in Metro 2033. As far as Crysis, yeah I noticed that too. I wasn't a huge fan of Crysis because of the gameplay, while smooth it felt like everything was slowed down. After playing it with this driver, I'm now convinced I need a GTX 480. I'd say anything below 45 fps just doesn't cut it, which I already knew, but this threw that fact in my face.
I like these drivers.
Only 2 problems.
One, the Physx Visual Indicator does not work. (but fluidmark does work with the GPU so I know it functions)
And two, Mirrors Edge refuses to use GPU phyx acceleration, regardless of setting or driver I used. (forcing it to use the GPU in th NVCP, trying the latest official ones (9.10.0129) and the latest latest ones (9.10.0223) ext)
All my other games work normally, and Crysis does get a boost.
These are ownage drivers for my laptop with 9800m GS @ GTS speeds!
GTA4 w/ ENB graphics mod gained an average of 5fps over 257.15 and 257.21 and 257.29 and even beats the GTA4 performance of 197.77 by about 2FPS, but at the same time having the better performance of the 257.xx series in L4D2.
1366x768 w/ ENB graphics mod (AA makes the game a slideshow, literally: 6fps.)
All maxed settings w/ water on medium (using -norestriction)
10 view dist. with distance mod
33 detail dist. with distance mod
33 car density
8 shadow density
Driving around the safe house @ midday w/ sunny weather
197.77 seems to run about 8C cooler on average though, not sure why.
Oh well, performance > a few degrees.
Best drivers for me so far!
Alright, tried these again with a fresh install of Blur. Runs much faster now.
Conviction seems to be a little happier too. Split/Second runs on Very High without a hitch.
I had the nvd3dum.dll faulting during playback of 2 simultaneous flash movies in google chrome.
Faulting application name: chrome.exe, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x4bf344f7
Faulting module name: nvd3dum.dll, version: 126.96.36.19949, time stamp: 0x4c0fb863
Exception code: 0xc0000005
Fault offset: 0x004e0de0
Played Metro 2033 for a while.
1920x1080 everything on max DX10 but no AA. Runs very smooth. I get mostly close to 60 FPS with occasional drop to 35.
Yep one of the few drivers (and then such a new one) that brings The NDA GPU Performance Counter (GPU usage,Video Engine usage,Memory Controler usage) back here on XP for non 200 series Cards great thing
Especially as you don't need to use the Overclock trick anymore it seems to be on by default maybe we see a policy change of Nvidia here concerning this feature finally on older then 200 series cards
Erm anyone notice digital vibrance doesn't stick for this? I'm on win7 ulti 64, gtx 295...
I cant get these to work with physx mod 1.03, anyone that get them to work with ATI+Nvidia combo?
My core temp sensor is not working with this driver... GPU temp is reading as 0.0c
My temp reading works fine in Afterburner. Also just now noticed, I don't seem to have stuttering anymore while having the fan speed monitoring enabled.
Lol im not even getting that with my 480 GTX´s in SLI :bang: ....
