Ok thanks, odd that it wouldn't be there but I don't know enough about what can and can't be done and why. I don't use DSR often, but down in the 'Other' category underneath the Predefined Ansel Usage there's Nvidia Quality Upscaling. I haven't noticed any changes when that's turned on...is it supposed to come into effect when DSR is turned on?

There is no info about "Nvidia Quality Upscaling". This setting is not read by the driver.
Perhaps this setting has already been removed the same as "Texture filtering - Negative LOD bias", but still visible in profiles.

DSR settings are stored in the registry, not in the binaries that the Nvidia Profile Inspector works with.

has anyone noticed that 3.5.0.0 version thats been pushed by those file hosts?

As far as i can tell there is no actual code changes in that fork.

    hy Guru´s

i just came across this site here:
It seems fishy to me that it says: OFFICIAL SITE.
Since i know Orbmu2k and i know he has his own Blog, i KNOW this is not his Site nor is it anything OFFICIAL...

    Screen:

Also, there is NO 3.5.0.0 Version!! (ok, there is, but its an FORK of Orbmu2k´s work and seems to be optimized for "MINING"...)

Latest NvidiaProfileInspector, as far i know, is: 2.3.0.2
Latest NvidiaInspector (Beta) is: 1.9.7.9 (can be found on the last 3 Pages of the 3dcenter Forum link..)

    And the Real Sources are:

    NvidiaInspector:
    https://orbmu2k.de
    https://www.forum-3dcenter.org/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=482122
Of course, Guru3d and other Tech Sites.

    N..ProfileInspector:
    https://github.com/Orbmu2k/nvidiaProfileInspector
    Guru3d and other Tech Sites.

There was also an Git on Appvoyer or what it was called but i think this on is abandoned... Not shure..

So i guess i just wanna say a Warning to not Download from that site, you can never be shure if someone changed the application.
I also could be wrong, but to me it seems very fishy, also i browsed teh comments and it looked off to me the way teh "Admin" was answering there..
Just stay away form it, better safe then sorry..

    Best Regards..

    EDIT:

I downloaded the versions from that site..
Nvidiainspector seems to be the same. STill, get it form trusted sources...

Anyway, the NvidiaProfileInspector (named 3.5.0.0) is changed..
modified by someone named DeadManWalkingTO-Github, that is what it says when looking at the file via some tools and Virustotal, etc..

Ok, its an Fork of ProfileInspector and seems legit from what i can tell..
    https://github.com/DeadManWalkingTO/NVidiaProfileInspectorDmW

It looks like an optimized version for "mining"???
Aaaaaanyway.. i thought i point that out if any questions arise..

    Please discuss....

Is there a way to force a certain refresh rate instead of "highest available"? Optional question just to make sure that games I run are in 120 and not 144

Not a inspector question but does anybody happen to have a new version of Nvidia's DRS tool? Hacked it to work with new drivers but i'm sure a newer version has more options by now.

There was once upon a time back when CRT's were still prolific.

Why does it start so slowly on 4xx.xx drivers?

This happened with/since the 436.15 Driver...
As far as i know theres nothing we can do about it..

Maybe Orbmu2k will update it in the future, i do not know..

    @Orbmu2k

Can it be possible to make the game profiles list scroll? This is the only "deal breaker" so far. :)

edit: for those curious, it's this list

It would be yeah, I thought so years ago. But i've gotten used to it and just use the search bar instead to find what I want.

Hi, has anyone else encountered a problem such as this?

If I run the earlier 1.9.7.8 version it's fine but any newer one and I get this every time.

Thanks, I have updated the first post with additional information.

I haven't. What were you trying to do when the error occurred?
