And yeah, there good once again as they created new record revenues. NVIDIA today reported record revenue for the third quarter ended October 29, 2017, of $2.64 billion, up 32 percent from $2.00 bill... NVIDIA Posts Financial Results for Third Quarter Fiscal 2018
wow...Record GeForce revenue of $1.5B (2.6B total) for cool $838M of income. there will be new Ferraris on NV's parking lot!
Well they do have been performing very well over the last year, could have given short time holders way more profit than Nvidia in the same time. If you'd have put in the same amount of money, AMD would have brought you more than double the revenue. I guess there is something to their claims.
A solid quarter, solid results, and solid guidance. As an Nvidia stockholder, I am very happy I hold both stocks in my trading account, as I believe both have a lot of upside. So far, I've nearly tripled my money in NVDA and almost doubled my money in AMD. I'm holding both for long-term.
With the amount of Nintendo Switch systems that have sold and Nintendo ramping up production and on pace to sell over 16+ million Switch system's by fiscal year end, Nvidia is going to be rolling in even more cash. Add to the issue that a lot of these Tegra X1 chips have already been produced and were basically just sitting in a warehouse is even better news as Nvidia doesn't have to tie up production lines for new chips since Tegra's weren't really selling that well beforehand. I say, good for Nintendo and Nvidia. Thye basically took a failure of a chip (in terms of sales) and turned it into a proverbial gold mining operation with spectacular results.
You don't even have to go back that far. In the past 3 years Nvidia stock is up 1000 %! https://www.benzinga.com/analyst-ra...at-wall-street-thinks-of-nvidias-huge-quarter
Imagine you put it in bitcoin...Like someone said, "if if's and but's" blah blah We'd all have diabetes and rotten teeth
