um... SARS and MERS are both coronaviruses.... lol. both of them are literally coded SARS-CoV and MERS-CoV
That's not true, Italy have been completely snowed under with Corona patients in intensive care...working ridiculous shifts and beyond breaking point...the acute effect on the health services that could end up with completely inadequate care being given for those that find themselves admitted to hospital - that's the the problem. The preventative steps that we're all taking now (panic as you call it) is a way of slowing down the rate of infection so that hospitals don't get snowed under to a point where people aren't being treated properly.
My statement wasn't made to start a debate. There's really nothing to debate anyway. The first half is fact. People are free to take the second half as they see fit.... I live in the US, therefore the increased possibility of violence concerns me.
