does anyone know if anyone benced the geforce physX vs the pci ageia physX card using nvidia's drivers at all? I been looking cant find a comparison..

I have a PPU that i never even used and even tho i have SLI i would like touse it and keeps all the 2 8800's for fx processing if there is performance boost.

How about support for Cellfactor? has anyone tried that out yet?
If no-one posts, im downloading it right now, ill share my experience with you guys.

EDIT: Nope, still no support for it either. Not that its a great game, but i would like to play it without all the lag, and only 2 levels...

Tested with the 177.98's, then with the 177.92's...significant gains with the 92's.

Are the ones in the Guru3d download section WHQL too?

I think Cell Factor is using a PhysX System Software version earlier than the accelerated CUDA versions (2.7.3 to 2.8.1). Besides, the Cell Factor developers need to release a patch with CUDA-accelerated PhysX drivers.

    http://www.overclock.net/nvidia/372653-nvidia-gpu-physx-vs-ageia-physx.html

All results I've seen so far shows GPU-PhysX is anything from 50% faster to 800% faster than Ageia-PhysX (when GPU-PhysX actually works that is).

The interesting thing in those tests is that certain games/apps that are Ageia-PhysX compatible only (ie. doesn't use GPU-PhysX) doesn't run faster with Ageia-hardware compared to a Q6600 (ie. software physics). Well, interesting in that they don't use hardware acceleration at all even though they say they do (perhaps because nVidia PhysX software is installed instead of older Ageia software).

I'm a little bit confused... Does it mean that simply updating to this driver pack, I'll have PhysX GPU support or do I have to use it in conjunction with the ForceWare driver v177.81? I currently have ForceWare v177.41 & PhysX v8.08.18 installed.
