    It's broken, Hilbert

Here, on x64, the install seems to go without a hitch, then the program does not run and the icons it installs are blank. Upon checking, it doesn't seem to be installing nvcplUI.exe, in either syswow64(where the icon props say it is supposed to be, or in the program files(x86)>nvidia>ntune subdirectory.

You might want to tell someone at Nvidia.

Can someone confirm that the OC works under Vista with this nTune version?
Or is it still driver-locked? :frown:

It won't work for me. I cannot OC in Vista.

Damn, the same thing here with the 100.30 and 100.40.. but I haven't tried the newest driver yet, downloading it right now..

I was hoping that the 100.54 will support OC.. this will push me to do a bios mod one day :heh:

Maybe because this is the 32 bit version and not the 64 bit

Installed it myself then got the same error but Vista by all means found the error itself and redirected the shortcut to the system32 folder

@tupelo20, it says that it support both x86 and x64 so this shouldn't be a problem.

@TScheisskopf, are you running that on Vista? If yes, then be sure that you're running the setup as an administrator.

Hi it works fine in winx64 all you have to do is create desktop shortcut on install then click the shorthcut to start it will look in SysWOW64 folder. Change that to look in System 32 and link to the file nvcplui.exe.

    Then it works fine

is it me or has anyone else noticed that the new Ntune utility doesn't have the Desktop Resizing option when connecting from DVI to HDMI to a HDTV..

Even with the lastest 100.54 drivers I can't resolve the problem with the over stretched screen when displaying in HDTV modes..

Also can't overclock or enable SLI mode for my (2) 8800GTX cards even though I go through the whole routine of enabling and rebooting and then checking again and it still says SLI is disabled..

    any ideas??

Thanks, SE. Very kind of you to come up with that fix. That said, I don't think that is the kind of behavior Nvidia wants in their install of this thing, knowhuddamean? ;-)

    Question:

The temp CPU readings are 5C lower (nTune) in comparison with the Core Temp utility.

    What to believe
