nVidia nForce 19.04

Just was surfing the net and saw some guy post this:

Installed it and running good, little problem was that the network driver not installed, but glad i still had 15.17 diver on my pc and used the driver from that package :nerd:

Now im writing this, it was the only driver that asked my premission :biggun:

Going to try them out. I have the old 9.53 on my pc in case something goes wrong. I know that usually you should let your mainboard drivers alone but sometimes I'm just such a drivers freak...

Will let you know how everything turns out.

The installation of the drivers were without any problems. I'm on xp32.
Yet just like the 9.64, 15.15 and 15.17, these drivers screw up my internet. After boot I have to wait about 20 seconds for the internet to kick in (normally goes instant) So I just installed the ethernet drivers from the 9.53 drivers.

I can fix the problem buy manually entering my ip adress.

If anyone should come across the ethernet/internet problem see this thread were the solution has been explained and will fix it for most users.

Same here m8, my ethernet got screwed to, but overal its a fast driver, maybe its in my head but my pc def running smoother

It seems to be an issue with older nforce boards 680i below. Not that everyone has the problem with the new nforce drivers. But I've spoken to some people that have encountered the problem. Just leaving the older 9.53 ether driver is the easy thing to do. The new ethernet drivers might have some bug fixes but It's not really worth the trouble of fixing your internet.

And you know, I also notice my computer running 'smoother'. Sometimes my pc would give me some hick-ups? But those seem to disappeared now.

I used the older driver .80 for ethernet instead of the .81 , the driver was good anyway

Good chipsetdriver imho, not encounterd any problems (yet).

What a shame, no vista 64 drivers

 

All 4-7nforce, so ye should work, think the guy from the website put the right ethernetdriver in that package, cuz the .81 gives problem.

I tried these drivers out and I thaught everything was running smooth but I was wrong. I ran HDTACH and got bad results from these. Im using a Nforce4 Ultra AMD chipset and a 3G sata drive. Mabie you guys should try HDTACH in the downloads section of guru3d.com and see your results.

Nforce 19.04 = Burst speed of 12.3 Mbs at 100% cpu usage.
Nforce 15.17 = Burst speed of 216.4 Mbs at 3% cpu usage.


I reverted back to 15.17, I also noticed Nvidia removed them from Nvidia.com and replaced them back with the 6.86. Nvidia also recently released video drivers and removed them, then replaced them back on the site 2 weeks later I think they were the 175.19's

 

Nforce 19.04 = Burst speed of 193.5 Mbs at 4% cpu usage.
Nforce 15.17 = Burst speed of 182.4 Mbs at 4% cpu usage.

I installed the 19.04 SM drivers, NO ethernet and NO IDE/SATA, (so using MS drivers for sata)

Nforce 19.04 (with MS sata drivers) = Burst speed of 199.7 Mbs at 3% cpu usage.

With the MS drivers for my IDE/SATA i now have a HDD temp sensor? :nerd:

 

I used the driver sweeper in XP worked ok for me. I used vista for 2 days n went back to xp. It must just be a bad install of drivers or my chipset NF4AMD Ultra. Where are you seeing your HD temp? Myne in everest states 51C.

 

Can I get a links for the nforce 19.04?. I had them once but I lost them after a format.

 

I would say SATA driver v9.99 still offers the best performance for NF6 boards
