he doesn't say it lol
no the boost is 1733 mhz
they're just showing how high it clocks
there goes polaris 10
That part REALLY got my attn.
I said, I gotta see real benchies from Mr. Hilbert on this one, I will be watching this like a hawk, I can not wait for REAL benchies.
Lets get it rollin', A gpu I been waiting for a long time, Time to see REAL results.
He doesnt, but its on slide on left vertical scale - VR perf. ratio efficiency.
So by normal scenario, not VR stuff, a 1080 on a scale 1-5 is ~0.7 faster then stock titanX or stock 980Ti (1163Mhz boost).
tiny gp104 smashy smash
2.1GHz on reference card lololol
$379 faster than 980 Ti
I don't know what to make of this
before we jump to hasty conclusions
how much can it overclock really ? vapor chamber cooler is extreme for a 300mm die
the founders edition cards are high binned for overclocking
I'm excited about it but im gonna choose wisely and wait for AMD also some benchmarks comparison before buy anything. Im not making the same mistake with nvidia again.
180W, pass, not buying notebook GPUs @ enthusiast prices for desktops anymore. You will see a 100% copy of this card in notebook form.
Well, the 1070 looks a lot easier to swallow. I will be swallowing this whole.
have fun waiting buddy
no news regarding memory compression, and async
nothing about 16bit
this is important
this card will probably be bandwidth limited
the founder's edition will be higher binned parts for OC and likely there will be no reference boards.
this is very smart on their behalf
charge a premium for the high OC parts and sell them with bigger margins directly to them
at 2100 mhz it's 10.7 tflops
which is ****ing nuts
physically accurate audio model <-- I asked for this LOL
Pascal R&D = 'several billion dollars'
Damn it AMD! why are you always late to the game!! ARGH I really wanted amd to have a faster GPU that's released before NVidia...
Not sure we could go to Mars for that kinda money though, lol.
Dude Polaris 10 is basically dead if it doesn't clock similarly. It needs at least 1500mhz to be competitive. at least.
