i remeber watching the nvidia boss about a year ago he said pascal was gonna be 10x faster then kepler and maxwell but the benchmark is a bit faster than a 980ti , be intresting if he talks about the 10x faster in this stream

Way they picked time... They sure don't give a F* about Europe. Could have picked 1~2PM PST, and They would have European, Australian, Eastern Asia and Russia audiences. Only Middle East and Western Russia would have it at night time. But not, they have to pick Europe as night zone.
That's not what he said. You should rewatch the conference. Not only was he talking about deep learning, but he made a joke about the 10x speed up being "CEO Math" right at the conference.
