No, because your cpu and memory is too slow
So i7 12700k 4.9Ghz and ram 3600Mhz 15 15 15 will bottlenck this beast at 1080p ? I have 360Hz monitor
Imagine getting a 4090 to play at 1080p lol even 1440 is such an improvement thats not even funny. I dont care how many frames image quality is crap. Some people....
Man, you are SO competetive!
I can sorta understand it if you are a legit pro gamer and pair it with a 1080p 360 hz monitor... but for casuals? Deffo rather get them pretty pixels
It will depend on the game, but more often than not, yes.
"4080" 12g purposely price aligned with 3080ti
if 4070 launches this year, it'll be aligned with 3080 (+700usd)
that's like 1070 being aligned with 980ti price to allow them to co-exist for a few quarters.
what a chance for amd to just bury them at their own request.
This makes sense now with calculation bellow.
The 4080 12GB is actually the 4060Ti NOT the 4070. The 4070 is the 4080 16GB.
So anyone wanting to buy a 4060Ti (4080 12GB) at $1000 please go get it but do not cry if next gen starts at 1600 or 2000 for the rebranded x60 model.
We need to boycott as we see total market manipulation here. We have the power to crash both AMD and Nvidia to bring back normal pricing. Not having them running with 70-75% margins. For those who don't get what EVGA said, Nvidia sells a card costing $480 at $1600. That is what 70% margin means.
I think you're overestimating gamers. We're pretty pathetic and spineless tbh.
4080 12g is a full 104 die with g6x mem so it's not a 4060ti, it's a 4070/ti.it's 60-65% of the 102 die, just what we saw in 1070 vs 1080ti
gtx1080 (GP104 die) were selling for 700usd for 10 months (May 2016 - Mar 2017) before being reduced to 550usd, 980Ti were selling for 650usd.
GP104 die size was 314mm2, GM102 die size is 600mm2.
The problem is that GP104 was the fastest GPU when it launched, but this time the fastest AD102 launch first, so any premium for AD104 doesn't make sense LOL
gp104 was 25% faster than 980ti
ad104 is about 3090 performance
I think its more that most dont really care, they buy what they can afford and game on.
Majority of gamers I personally know dont read forums like this one and base their purchase on what friends recommend or maybe Toms Hardware reviews etc.
No we don't because the 'we' you talk about are insignificant in the eyes of everybody with eyes.
Its the same reason why you can't haggle with a Porsche salesman, pay the asking price or move along.
The pricing ain't even that terrible considering.
Titan V - 3090 - 4090 (batshit pricing)
2080 Ti - 3080 Ti - 4080 16 (1199)
2080 - 3080 12 - 4080. (800-899)
2070 - 3070 - 4070 (499-600)
Take your head out of your ass man.
reality conflicts with your fragile ego.
Wait, do you need an ATX 3.0 power supply for the RTX 400XX serie ?
