Well every time zone has now officially entered August 11th!

And yet nothing happened on NVidia's website....

Either NVidia has REALLY bad timing... or the webmaster fell asleep and is dreaming of running in the field with that ATi chick (Rubi or something)! ;)

I guess they need the power of 3 webmasters to update the website, unfortunately one of them is playing WOW in the Linux farm room :p

(Linux farm room is nVidia's 1000 PC setup they use for designing their GPU's)

It's still the 8th of August here in The Netherlands. It looks like we'll have to wait another three days.

That was bad. 'Power of 3' technologies already being used in the series 6 cards... pointless hyping gits

Yeah, wasn't it something like Dawn at the 5800Ultra launch and Dusk for the 5900Ultra?

Yeah yeah, but point was this I think:
SLI: ATI don´t have it or equal (at the markets)
HDR: ATI don´t have it or equal.
    SM3.0: ATI has it neither.

You guys know Dell is now selling Intel systems with 2x 16x SLI right?

ME thinks ATI is in big trouble over this. Dell sells so many PCs to people, this should get interesting...

Marketing people are such dumbies, they know how to get our attention, big deal a screaming child knows that to, those of us that like Nvidia already and are interested, are talking about what it might be, SOUNDS LIKE SOMETHING GOOD AND NEW. Now that we know what it is, all of us are shaking our heads in disgust or a little embarrased that we could be so wrong. Perhaps the Marketing dept just figured it out like duh 'I didn't know we already could do all that, wow we should tell everyone uh" My guess judging from the reaction of this childish advertising prank. Most of us afeeling a loss of some respect and trust for Nvidia from there core supporters. The proverbial carrot on the string except the carrot turns into a turd when you finally do grab it. Nvidia if you are listening. Fire your marketing dept and put an engineer in charge!

SLI: Crossfire , comming soon from Ati
HDR: Not a feature , its a technique using SM 3
SM3.0: On the next generation of card's Ati will have it.

So what exactly is nvidia saying here? Year old technology (at least)

Nothing unuiqe , nothing new , to be honest I didnt belive it when someone said it was those 3 things.

Im worried I dont see anything comming out of the nVidia camp of any concern(For me atleast)? they are just sitting there while Ati struggles to work out its yield problems , laughting to themselves.

I really dont want to see PC hardware behind consoles when they launch or I will switch , simply because I want to be gaming on the machine that has the most potential.

I'm really quiet peeved about this I was hoping nV would announce a significant product (ie worth £350 to upgrade my 6800)

I would have expected to see this on the 6x00 series debut , not the 7x00 series debut
