I have a feeling it's going to be project denver.

Or perhaps it could be a user who actually accepts the fact that their problem is User Error, instead of blaming it on the driver.

I got my GTX 680 a week after release and only two of the dozen+ beta drivers gave me issues. The rest have all been great.

If it were the drivers, chances are we'd ALL be having the same problem.

Same as u bud, only 2 driver set gave me minor issues. to nvidia credit the GTX680 is the best card i ever owned and one of the best i seen, however on maxwell i hope they really improve opencl compute.

They should just release Maxwell already, so we get some great price/pref. choices :p

Whatever it ends up being, like so many other "amazing" nvidia products outside of the gpu, it will be horribly overpriced and buggy as hell.

You'll be paying top dollar to be a beta tester at best.

I learned this the hard way by purchasing a 3d vision kit in it's first month, it's still buggy, just...less buggy.

Mark Rein is VP of Epic, nvidia's news was on 4K featuring Batman AO which runs on Epic's Unreal engine, so i guess thats about it.

and oh, only for high end users -__-

Yeah the cost of a 4K capable display (And the GPU or GPU's needed for it.) plus that the tech is rather new is what's holding me back for now, this will probably be a big thing in a few years though. :)

It's this battlebox thing? It turned out to be expectedly underwhelming. Gamers are going to love buying over priced prebuilds!

I wold be happy if they (ATi, nVidia) develop their graphics cards in the power envelop of the PCIe, no additional power cables.

bleh, most of those games run between 50-60fps, worst fps area there is.

And you ONLY need 2x 780GTX or 2x Titan

One of the "Battlebox" models starts at over $10K USD.... The prices on them, much like most things these days, is flat out ridiculous...

Well Mark, let me tell you this!
Unless it starts and ends with 'Price Cut' then i cant say that i, as a tech enthusiast, am overly enthused.

And as for this BattleBox (sounds like a military enlisted prostitute's nickname) I think that this is so lame that i even typed the work 'lame' in the username field of this here forum's log on screen, and much like my assumed anticipation of this idea of Nvidia's, it didnt work.

It might just be the most amazing thing for total dummies with too much money. Which is a bit of a sin, for someone who doesn´t know how to install a gpu to drop 10k on a computer. Seriously, anyone with half a brain can learn to mount a computer nowadays, stop being lazy and learn how to do it. This is just a exploit of ignorance; still don´t get it, how is this "amazing"?

What an enormous disappointment. I was hoping for a virtual reality headset or something else that could change things, not some half-assed 4K system.
