When i have AMD crossfireX - it was ASUS-7970-DC2 - i reflashed both cards to Matrix-280X - and it was so nice ;)

**** crossfire. Never going back to mandatory fullscreen ever again.

People take the most innocent of mistakes and ascribe ill intent to it because illuminati. Or whatever the ****.

Back in the olden days, I had a 5970. Those were the times. AMD would regularly put out beta drivers like once a month or every other month, for crossfire support.

Then they moved to application profiles that basically provided the same thing, on the spot crossfire support. The application profile phase was alright, not as good as the constant beta driver phase.

People started to complain because of all the beta driver updates. Then they ditched the application profile phase and now well...

Now there isn't any crossfire updates lol I can't believe it took them like 3 months to support shadow of mordor. In fact most games it appears that AMD won't support crossfire till at least 2 months in. Getting a 390X crossfire sounds like a great idea, but i guarantee you AMD won't be supporting crossfire for newly released games.

I don't know what happened. AMD official driver for crossfire support really bad. It use to not be that way.

Nothing "must" outperform anything if we're talking about different h/w architectures. This is a faulty logic in the first place.

Yea but the T-X is supposed to be a lot faster than the 970 (?)

Both Titan X and 970 are built on the same architecture so yes, you can expect TX to always be faster than 970. Kepler is a different architecture and it can easily have issues with newer games which Maxwell don't have.

It'll be interesting to see how performance will change on Kepler after the "hotfix" will be released. I have a feeling that some posters here will be disappointed.

One here like "before update kepler driver" i want record "after update version", other just about 353 version performance for statistics true realtime testing from real man, against faked pictures from sites, like this: (and this not maxedout ahaha)
    and 7970=780 lol

This is a 4K benchmarks where bandwidth is more important than anything else. 264GB/s on 32 ROPs vs 288.4GB/s on 48 ROPs. There is nothing "lol" in that these cards are pretty close in 4K resolution. 780 may be a bit higher after they fix stuff but it still is unlikely to reach 290 level.

i test it. and know, what Kepler can show true in this game, it is more than this faked picture. it is more than 980sli on this faked picture. you make no sense. and one 970 have a true 15-12 fps on this settings.
it is delirium. kepler must outperform G92 :) titan Black must outperform 970 - it is pretty good can we see in all old games, when kepler is enogh optimised.

I make no sense? Ok :infinity:

Kepler is an architecture. There is Kepler in Tegra K1 which may actually be slower than G92. Titan Black may outperform a 970 or it may not - depends on the workload. GM204 (980) is a faster GPU than GK110 (780Ti / TB) but there are cases where GK110 may be faster as well as there are cases where a cut down GM204 (970) may be faster than Titan Black.

You really should stop posting nonsense.
