you didn't even pm me.
I don't need it. I can only see it being useful for people who find the guide to cumbersome. If I can't add it to the OP then I don't see the point.
If that tool is classified, then we can't put it on OP too, as you also can't tell about it on here, but only PM.
Thank you very much Cyberdyne, I ran it and verified it as you had posted and everything looks good. Looks like I am still having some issues with the stuttering on MKV playback. Maybe its a bad setting. I will keep looking , thanks again
You're welcome, I'm glad at least the driver installed. Not so glad that it didn't fix your problem though.
And I'm tickled silly by this use of the word 'classified', a top secret program that pastes two lines of text for you, shhhhh.
Again, not so useful for most of us here regulars, and I'm not adding to the OP "PM SLI-756 for a program that does this for you if you find the guide difficult".
Try tweaking codec setting, or switch to another codec.
work if i using 1 string if all copy all string no work error in final instalation whats secret to create inf with all geforces in inf modded to work?
Did you also paste all the device id's onto all the different OS sections?
There is no reason why it would work with one string but not all of them on the same GPU.
i create same all OS with inf but 1º using 1 string my gtx 570 and work
if i copy past all string in this post no work will do something wrong?
i preferer create inf for all to post for distribuite in forum
You're not doing anything different from them.
If you want, try doing the same procedure only rather then using the pastebin links, try using the sections from another Geforce driver.
Cyberdyne, I'm trying to install the 314.22 drivers on windows 8.1 but there is no ntamd64.6.3 section for windows 8.1 in the .ini file, do I have to add that section in myself?
It probably will not work. I suggest you mod drivers that already support your OS, just not your card. But you can try it, the full section name is;
Let me know what happens.
As far as I know, everything v320 and over is windows 8.1, which is all the ones that give black screen errors
Black screen errors? On that card?
Playing any games, after a few minutes the screen turns black and gives me the "Driver is not responding but is now functioning again" message, and sometimes it gets color pixelated too
Even with the newest drivers, eh? That's really strange. If doing what I said does not allow the older driver to install on 8.1 then it's out of my hands. You will either have to get in touch with your GPU vendor (maybe it's broken and needs to be RMA'd), wait for a new driver to fix the issue, or downgrade the OS.
Thanks Man, Hops my 650 ti boost could use quadro driver for performance
Expect no performance differences unless the driver itself has improvements that are not unique to Quadro.
I recently upgraded my laptop video card from a gtx 560m to a gtx 770m. As this boards is not recognised by the bios (not intended for this laptop) I need modded inf drivers to install.
Not having to rely on 3rd party sites to do this would be a huge benefit. I however cannot find the particular file needed to modify. the only NVdisp.. are as follows
nvdispco64.dll & nvdispgenco64.dll in 331.93
I have looked at other modded inf for drivers and the nvwin.dll was the file that was modded. Would this be the file I need to look at?
Alternatively, if there a way I can get the bios to recognise the card so I can just d/l the driver from nvidia? Its a MSI gt780
You do not mod a dll, you mod a inf. That should make things easier to find.
