No need, was able to mod it and it is working fine now. Thanks.
oh ok nvm
Quadro 5000 & GTX690: guys, can you all make a driver for me to allow these to work together? They used to work with the monitor hooked to the Quadro 5000, and the GTX690 just for rendering. The 690's even showed up in system topology in the nvidia control panel. I had to format and now i cant get this setup to function anymore. Your help is greatly appreciated. im on win 7x64.
Choose the drop down menu .. install (one at a time)
i've tried installing one at a time, but i cant get video from the quadro. upon further research my problem may be the installation order of the cards in the slots..i just added water cooling and moved them from their original positions. ill swap back and see if that does the trick.
its odd that the quadro display works until 690's are plugged in...the 690 display works no matter if the quadro is installed or not.
You cannot use BOTH in a single "computer system"!
as my first post said, they worked for years until this recent HD format and slot change. Quadro 5000 as display, gtx690's recognized and used for rendering...stupidly, i cannot remember if i modded them or the driver to get them to work, or if they ran like this under the same driver.
They did all show up under system topology in nvidia control panel, and also stupidly, i dont remember which driver i used.
since 2010, no way ....
since 2010, no way
But you lose all the driver support that Quadros are used for 10bit OpenGL support and Wireframe acceleration for CAD and 3D programs. [before 2010 - what i have experienced]
I need some help... I am trying to experiment with installing the quatro drivers for my GTX 860m laptop graphics card. I modified the inf according to the first post. It gets past the checking compatabillity and lets me select what software I want to install. Then it fails trying to install the driver. What did I miss?
is what I downloaded...
If you get past the compatibility check then there is nothing I can offer, you have correctly modified the INF.
Try using DDU maybe.
1080 Ti left , modded Quadro P6000 right.
Card is watercooled and undervolt @ 0.9V 1911Mhz / 12488Mhz.
I would call the difference you see down to margin of error. Especially considering this is what an actual P6000 gets https://www.spec.org/gwpg/gpc.data/vp12.1/Dell/T5820_P6000/resultHTML.html
Note that things like snx-02 and sw-3 are about 250 and 130 points lower respectively on your results. Both of those test refer to CAD related softwares.
It would seem you have proven that you cannot modify a modern GPU to a Quadro card, something that is well known at this point unfortunately.
No luck with Titan XP.
Nvidia unlock some huge performance boost to Titan X Pascal and Titan XP 2 years ago.
@Dragondale13 did you have modded INF for GF 430.39 quadro? THanks in advance!!!
