I just bought and built a complete new PC and with the latest nvidia drivers (258.62 and 258.38b) nvidia HD audio and nvidia Update refuses to install. The rest installs just fine and the driver and CP works like a charm. I need HD audio to get sound when i plug in my TV with a HDMI cable (I think?) so this is getting annoying. Happenig on a fresh install of win7 with all updates installed, chipset drivers, etc. Reinstalling the driver does not help either. I have not tried to use a driver cleaner yet, but I do not see a reason to yet unless someone thinks it will help. Any ideas?
