Nvidia halts tests of self-driving cars after Uber accident

Uber decided to save moneys by using their office GTX GeForce cards and hacked Teslas/Quadro drivers, instead of buying full fledged DRIVE PX (much savings, many denaro)
Or sumtin along these lines LOL

 

There was an article quoted that did say that Uber was using "off the shelf" NVidia GPUs and their own in-house "platform" for their self-driving cars..... Obviously the intelligence of the people running Uber should be called into question as well as why Uber was even permitted to test something like a self-driving car considering their original business model.....

 

I learned a lot reading this thread to, i learned that most can have a civilized discussion even while they disagree, while one had to resort to being derogatory, such a shame one had to mire what was a interesting discussion in such a manner.
