A solid performer, but not even close to the native 8K image in quality

It looks like the 3070 is indeed around the performance of the 2080Ti, which is very nice for a $500 card.

What he said! Even as a 2080TI owner I say, if I hadn't upgraded for a longer time, I'd like the 3070. Looks like a very good card for 1440p at least, and fairly reasonable price. Not cheap, but reasonable if it can do RT well.

If the 3070 beats the 2080ti by a big margin with RT enabled it may push some 2080ti owners off their high-horse, and if it destroys 2080ti in CP2077 i'm gonna be pissed.:D

I would rather have little slower 2080Ti with 11GB VRAM than 3070 with 8GB VRAM.

I sure it will all destroy 1070ti in CP2077 then again I still run 1080p

I think you'd still be fine, just may have to reduce a little bit of eye candy. :)

If you're on your high-horse then you're being stubborn, i wasn't implying there are stubborn 2080ti owners, just having some fun.:p

    Agree.

im sure it will look better then ps4 verison and RT stuff i could careless about even IF i had card capable of it I would disable cause it still to much of hit on performance, I also think my 6700k is starting to show it age a little

That's crazy to hear that about the 6700k, that's what i had in my last build a few years back and the thing used to fly.
Saying that games are indeed getting more cpu heavy but still.

dont know like I said I "think" i cant even run game like skyrim se at 4k @ 60, it hovers in low 50 most time when i try to play 4k on uhdtv which rare, or maybe 1070ti just really is up to running 4k @ 60.

I just run 1080p cause that is what my monitor is and i dont like flipping resolutions around, and at 10 feet from 55in I can really tell much difference from 1080p and 4k at like 5 feet or less i can but the games not be 60fps is deal breaker for me.

Seriously main reason i STILL game on pc despite the fun that is window 10 and all the other stuff is. that I can run 1080p 60 completely stable on almost everything I have.

Consoles have this thing about want to use 30fps over 60fps and not enough game have 60fps mode and even when they do that dont really keep 60fps, maybe ps5 will xbox next will resolve that finally.

Love nioh and now nioh2 but action mode on ps4 might be 60fps but sure as hell cant keep it, Nioh on pc I can do 1440p with internal res and keep 60fps, im sure nioh 2 will be the same do it be the same engine with out much diffrence
