Videocardz put it in a nice comparison chart
What's crazy is that AMD might have a chance at beating the 3090 after all. At least in traditional rendering ( non RT non DLSS stuff ).
I see what you're saying but i'd say they may be able to beat /catch up with 3080 (without RT) but can't see them getting close to 3090.
Stranger things have happened though and as we can see the 3090 has zero price /performance value.
If true, this card is DOA. But waiting to see water cooled results.
The STRIX naked....
Looks like the first 3080 with all power stages attached.. 22 of em..
are you just troll posting at this point?
Only AMDumpster can save us now. Hopefully they have something competitive and reasonably priced.
Oh no no no
Yeah, I found that very interesting. Some AIB's skimping on hardware. Looks like Asus is a strong bet, as they have gone overboard.
Not much of a difference. Tho it would've been more interesting to see a card that was crashing ( His was stable out of the box ) tested after Cap replacement.
Maybe some cards are just boosting over that edge of stability. Every individual card is slightly different so maybe some particularly bad samples are biting more than they can chew. But it could really be any number of things. Guess we'll see how this develops as they roll out new drivers and maybe some other updates.
Pretty sure all the major players will be allright moving forward.
That's interesting I guess
Freshest rumors on the 3070 16GB and the 3080 20GB launches
16 and 20 gig really should've been the standard memory configurations. There's already games that fill up, or almost fill up 8 gigs of vram, and we're on the cusp of next gen... releasing 8 gig and 10 gig cards, now and at these prices, is ridiculous.
