MLID talks a lot of bs.
^ I've only recently watched one or two videos of him, curious to see how much of it turn out true, or false.
The guy really is milking every drop of reddit and twitter fantasm. The 12v input for instance was blown out of proportion while everyone knew about it for months.
I believe everyone is a bit hysterical right now, time to take a week break and find a good netflix or amazon prime show and take a step back from hardware tech until 1st Sep.
i'm loving it
" Confirming: RTX 3070 ~= RTX 2080 Ti. " - MLID on twitter
Nvidia RTX 3060 could be on its way - are there more Ampere surprises in store?
Is the 3070 Super in the works yet?
Hope the hype is true and affordable.
The Super variants are generally 8-12 months after the initial first run release of a new generation. Usually once yields improve enough on the chips so they don't need to disable as many SMs on the chip.
We won't be seeing RTX 30 Super models until 2021.
"Super are generally" Come on, there's only been one generation with Super version and it was clearly to reposition nvidia stack against latest AMD.
I'm not convinced we'll ever see SUPER again.
When are we expecting 3090 /3080 in shops?
Sept. 10 - 14 my guess.
This guy is like... super douchey ... just gives me a creep alert vibe, crikey!
He gives off that cultist vibe huh.
I stopped watching any of his vids a while ago
He runs with speculation and acts as if he has super inside sources - his whole methodology is the throw a million stones and a few of them may hit the mark and he will act like he is 100% legit ignoring the vast amount of BS he's said.
And yeah he comes off as a total twat.
10-14 might be the first batch of preordered cards from the 1st September that are getting received, but NO WAY you're getting any of those cards in store before the end of september, or if you do it's for pre-orders which will not be delived before the end of month.
That's exactly how it went with the RTX launch at least.
I'm ready for 3080 from the 10th, and i can tell you this straight, i won't be able to sit on £800 for 2 - 3 weeks, damn here's hoping then!
Like a Far Cry 5 character...
I'm looking forward to the 3070, as it's one of my potential upgrade choices. So if were to be true that it would be ~= 2080Ti, but less power hungry, I'd go for it (depending on the price, ofc).
Seems too good to be true, though.
Yeah I aim for the 3070 let's see what for surprizes they bring
Ultimatecountdown isn't far now :O The hype is real
