Yeah the should do, from the last GPU client (old ATI one) multicard support should be along in the next for weeks/months along with driver optimizations.

But I cant promise that, sorry.

Aircool are there any other cuda drivers, 177.35 didn't let me have blu-ray playback. I am back to 175.16 which doesn't work with F@H but at least I can watch my movies.

177.25 (177.26) may work with cuda (from my scrownging abilities I can see some have got F@H running using them, but with a performance hit).

This link should work, http://wright-pc.co.uk/nv17726_Vista64.rar .

Seems like its doing approx 3350, sometimes it drops to approx 2700 for a sec and sometimes it peaks at approx 4200 for a sec on my 8800GTS512, would be nice if the second one were to help out as well:)

I noticed if you have the viewer open, it drops the iter /sec down. With window open its ~2200-2300 but if i look right as i open it, its at ~2900 iter / sec. So i bet its doing at lease ~3000 iter / sec sitting in my taskbar.

Yeah, currently the pande group are saying the veiwer is a right devil on the resources and does indeed slow down actual calculations.

For now I'd stick to fahmon ;)

I have a quick question also, when i play games, will it slow down like it would for the CPU so i don't lose performance?

Nope it seems that none of the 177 series work with HD/Blu-ray playback, I'll just have to wait until they add it.

kinda technical yeah, still dont see the benefit. use up more electricity to help science, yet still doesnt seem to be any closer to curing anything. i think its more beneficial to simply donate $$$.

Mate, why run 3 clients on one machine?
    I run SMP and GeForce GPUv2, but I can't see why you'd run 3?

Because a) Its more efficient that two (GPU and CPU) b) because its more efficient you get a nice little boost of ppd and c) well why not make use of the quad properly.

Using affinity changer and two SMP clients you can get a very nice boost, like 1000PPD - now that is nice :D

Hi, i got this GPUv2 client running now for a few days, and i am new to this.

I've got 3 8800's in my pc, so i read that SLI is not supported yet but did someone managed to get 3 or 2 clients running on each GPU? or is this not possible?

I'm running Vista x64 and i have a Q6600 so i could dedicate 3 cores to the clients.

Hello to you too, right so you'd like to get the three cards folding - as you already know its not yet supported but no-one has said its impossible.

I've not seen any members get sli to function properly (correct me if im wrong) but you could try and get the three clients but in order to do this you'd need to manually set the machine ID's (e.g. 1, 2 and 3) in the config file.

Hmm thanks, im gonna play and test with that.
the client is now using machineid 2, thats the 3rd GPU in my system... well im gonna disable SLI and try some, will report later if it succeeds or not.

Sadly it currently does not work on multiple GPU's.

When i run 2 clients they run both on the same GPU :( both with SLI Enabled and Disabled.

Only thing i can try is to expand the desktop to a 2nd or 3rd GPU but for some reason my 2nd monitor is not been detected by the drivers :S maybe someone with dual GPU can check that out.

Guess we need an update :D:D
