    I only have 1 (obvious) question; Does it run faster in Doom?

    As usual, any driver above the 337 series for my 550 ti , sucks.( slow desktop, slow down in google chrome videos, lower windows score ) back to the fastest drivers alive 337.94. I think i will stop updating/testing until i buy a 1050 4gb card next month

    Yeah probably includes the latest 1.0.37.0 runtime of Vulkan from.
    (I tend to rip the installer as newer ones become available, not that you'd usually need to update it separately since the GPU driver - both AMD and Nvidia - tends to include the latest it officially supports. :p )

    Interestingly it's R375 again.

    Note that HD Audio driver in this package is older than the one in the latest hotfix (376.60) - 1.3.34.15 vs 1.3.34.17

    One more thing - this driver installs NVBackend.exe by default again.

    Why would Doom run faster on a driver implementing features which Doom doesn't use? Id needs to update their renderer for Doom to run faster on GFs.

    RT included with this driver is 1.0.38, the driver itself support 1.0.37 spec:

    Code:
    ===========
    VULKAN INFO
    ===========

    Vulkan API Version: 1.0.38

    Device Properties and Extensions :
    ==================================
    GPU0
    VkPhysicalDeviceProperties:
    ===========================
    	apiVersion     = 0x400025  (1.0.37)
    	driverVersion  = 1578139648 (0x5e108000)
    	vendorID       = 0x10de
    	deviceID       = 0x1b80
    	deviceType     = DISCRETE_GPU
    	deviceName     = GeForce GTX 1080

    This driver seems to be good for 3DMark Firestrike benching purposes, for me at least. My 1080 @2.05Ghz scores above 24k on the Graphics score (24,330). All earlier drivers I would always fluctuate between 23.5-23.9k. Will try out some games tonight.

    OK, I've done my (brief) test.

    Doom works with this driver, but, OpenGL is still faster by around 8fps. No change I think.

    More games testing to follow.

    Was on 376.60 when I installed these and FireStrike Performance dropped from 16 003 to 15 671 Stay far away from this driver!!

    Edit: Ok to be fair I got 16k points when I set my desktop resolution to 1080p and ran firestrike.

    I ran the test again this time my desktop resolution was at 4K for both tests.
    376.60 : 15 782
    376.66 : 15 671

    As you can see the performance drop Is still there.

    Edit: Reinstalled 376.66 and now I'm getting mixed scores. :bang:
    376.66 : 15 847

    I was on 376.33 default install and did an upgrade install with the clean option checked if that makes any difference with AngryCrab's setup/upgrade.

    we donĀ“t play firestrike

    we have so many games with real world benchmarks like metro last light, rise of tomb raider, f1 2016, far cry primal, batman arkham series and another games to do real comparison

    firestrike are just to push maximum performance for your card to see if oc are stable
