Did you forget to expand taskbar buttons? lol
lol, one day you'll realise that computer science doesn't factor human logic into anything.
dicky hardware can run fine in crysis then crash playing space pinball.
Actually only solved part of the problem
It seems with this driver, for my video cards, the control panel is broken
the only choice in nvidia control panel is:
"manage GPU utilization"
when reverting to any prior driver version, the problem goes away, but on the 430 series the problem has been consistent.
Can the nvidia forum representative see what can be done to submit? I called nvidia tech support and they have no clue what language I am speaking when I describe the issue.
when it should look like:
Asus c621e sage
Dual Xeon 8180M
768GB of ram LRDIMM
4x Titan V including Titan V CEO ed 32GB
960pro nvme (OS)
10x SSD Raid (Apps and Backup 8x 2x)
1600W PSU (digital) noiseless
Noctua 3647 coolers
MS 2016 Data Center, Ubuntu
P1 miniITX case (SFF)
stop and start the nvidia display container.
it not the hardware but you welcome to your opinion TDR cause by HW is not that that specific when it HW it tend to happen all over the place do all kinds of things not specficly in one and only 1 program.
I have had TDR issue cause by HW before and it was never specfic to one and one thing only, it always manfested it self in everything from windows to games to browsing, to just idling
Can I have one of those TitanV JHH se, you don't need 3..
Keep telling yourself that.
I don't think you know the first thing about how any of your computer actually works and that some intricate combination of API's are more sensitivity to hardware flaws compared to others.
I've have had to rollback to 425.31 for DCS World, the framerate stuttering is unbearable with this driver.
Down boy I just caught up to u.
The issue is you have a DCH driver installed and you haven't allowed Win store to auto update the NVCP
yes, I realized that afterwards, but I did then in stall the correct (non-dch) driver. Regrdless the nvcp issue is unresolved.
but thank you, your response was correct on the original post
but i suppose there could still be issues that come from having the NVCP installed from windows store still, it might confuse the display container.
the driver uninstaller and ddu won't touch the winstore package.
I will check that, I had win store disabled... not even sure where that would be stored.
however prior driver (I reinstalled the 425.42) seemed to work ok after I reverted.
I did run the
but did not seem to help
Calm down there, you rebel.
Ok GREAT they've stopped supporting drives for the GT650M neither the Notebook nor the Desktop(always worked) drivers recognized my GPU. I don't game on this PC but I like to keep the GPU up to date at least just incase. the last drivers that installed are 425.31.
Can someone check these drivers and verify that GT650M is EOL now?
I love Nvidia stopping driver support on "old" GPUs(it is really old I know).
check the news
Might help: https://github.com/CHEF-KOCH/nVidia-modded-Inf/releases/tag/430.64, but not sure.
"Some users might see an empty control panel after they installed the DCH version, this is not a bug and on purpose! This basically means that your Windows Store could not fetch the NVIDIA Control Panel Update which is required after each new driver installation to load the "missing" resources. Make sure you Windows Store has internet access and that the NVIDIA Display Driver Container process is running.
The reason why the NVIDIA Container requests internet access is because of this."
CHEF-KOCH also writes you can "opt-in/opt-out" of Analytics.
if this is true im pissed !
Driver installs and performs just fine on my systems with 1070, 970 and 750Ti (Windows 10 1809). No noticeable bugs/issue while surfing, doing office works and gaming (Battlefield V, Warframe and Street Fighter V). The only thing I've notice is when applying new settings in the control panel, it applies quickly. Previous drivers pauses for like a second after hitting the Apply button. So far so good!
