Fast sync is not free sync is not VRR

This is not a driver issue.
    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/release-information/status-windows-10-1903#454msgdesc

    KB4497935 should resolve it soon.

Anyone playing Destiny2 Forsaken unlocked version?

I found these a bit unstable, random hard freezes, sometimes it's ok 2hrs then crash freeze.. A friend on 1070GTX said he keep getting random black screens. I didn't get that though.. He said he returned to 418.xx

I haven't had any issues with this set of drivers myself but i did have problems with degradation of performance the longer i played a few drivers/patches ago.

Hello Guys, hope you are doing great.

I need a little help in understanding why my in-game fps has dropped down only for Overwatch.
I am unable to find out, is it the Windows Update or Newer Graphics Driver or Overwatch Update.
But the fps drop just keeps increasing with either of the update.

    My current config is
    i5 3570K @ 3.8 + Corsair H45
    Gigabyte B75M-S
    Vengeance 2X8GB DDR3 1600 (10-10-10-27)
MSI GT1030 OC V2 DDR5 (Display Port Model)
Intel 330 Series 120 GB SSD
    WD 1TB HDD
    Coolermaster Silent Pro 850W Modular
    Zowie 2411P (Connected via DP)
Windows 10 Pro 1809 (Including May Update)

    On 1803+3xx drivers,
The game ran on stable 154 FPS on 720P, All Low, FXAA - ON, Resolution Scale - 100%, Refresh Rate - Display Based.
Dripped to 130's (Very Very Rare)

Every update (Windows, Nvidia, Overwatch), the fps drop just kept on increasing.
    Now on 1809+May Update,
The fps drop is all around the map and drops to 90's during ganks.

Its highly unplayable since the fps drop from 150 to 90 for a few seconds is unbearable (atleast for me)
I kindly request all professional members to help me understand where the problem exactly lies and is there any optimizations that I might have missed.

I know getting a new GPU will sort out my problems once and for all. But lets just say, I have to hold my horses due to various factors.

I have non-operational MSI 970, EVGA 570, XFX 8800 GTS lying around and legacy Rage Pro, TNT2 and MX400 somewhere in my old house.
So I have basic knowledge about hardware and technology trends.
But I am clueless as to why this fps drops keep on increasing.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you sincerely.

    Following up:

KB4497935 does resolve the colour profile loading, but only so long as Hiberboot is disabled (Fast Startup)

Try to uninstall old drivers and clean with DDU in safe mode. Disable LAN and start in normal mode then try to install it. I'm not sure why but Windows 10 1903 still tries to download and install 419.67 driver though I disabled to install any Windows Update drivers

My pc just crashes after installing this driver... or any other criver...I can't seem to make my RTX 2080Ti working properly, nvdia doesn't want to refund the card because it has passed more than 30 days, but everytime there's a new windows update or driver update my pc just crashes with a black screen.
worst purchase ever...and waste of time dealing with this issues.

I wonder if there's any fix we can do to driver or files or hw...

So they won't do a refund, what about a replacement?

I play it quite a lot, it simply doesn't like overclock or overvolting (being it on cpu or gpu). Currently i solved my problems with an 1848 frequency undervolted curve on afterburner.
It's a pity since i could run the game in 4k and avoid all those jaggies using the 2050mhz preset i made but that gives me the "broccoli" error.
Sorry to all for the OT. TJ that you know there's a way to force some sort of AA? The game engine is full deferred rendering but maybe you found some exploit to force a better AA?
    P.S. Using this driver set

Maybe it's just my pc config... I'm very disappointed. They did replace it once, but the one I received was even worse. lol At that time there was a software update and the first card started behaving normally as it should.
After the most recent windows update it started to fail again, when booting windows I get a black screen. Downgraded widows version installed latest driver, no go. Connected a new DP cable and it booted at second try...
Now I need to do some work while I have the PC up and running!

Yea I got broccoli few times, driver reinstall fixed it.

I don't have any high gpu oc though.. had to lower cpu oc from 4.7 to 4.6ghz.. it's ok now.. I'm using some hotfix driver atm

About aa, yes FXAA is too blurry smaa to jaggy.

Driver fxaa is a bit better though, I also use driver dsr on top of that.

Tnx for the tip! I will try. At the moment i use downsampled custom resolution @1440p. Maybe dsr looks better adjusting the downsampling filter to a proper value.

I have 1080p display and dsr to 2.25x (or ingame 150%)

Dsr smooth factor 16-18%. Atm I'm using ingame dsr, driver dsr makes game startup a bit wonky and doesn't always start fullscreen.

But yeah driver fxaa is better then ingame. :)

You saved my eyes! :-D When i got past the "broccoli" error i avoided to touch anything in game settings to stay safe and totally forgot about internal dsr. Following your tips now i play with a better fxaa and 175% resolution scale and the game aliasing is way more tolerable! Tnx again!

Is it just me or it has been a while since it took more than a month to release a new driver (not hotfix)
