Nvidia GeForce test driver version 2 for 460/560 GPUs
Thanks, going to test
Installed the 2nd Beta test driver R331.58.
Firefox H ACC to ON
Power Management mode set to default Adaptive in the NVIDIA Control Panel.
So after 2 hours, what's the result?
Yesterday i installed the 331.82 WHQL the whole day no Freezes/CTD.
So its not possible to say something after only 2 hours.
The freezes can start after many hours or the next day.
It will take 4 days and more to test this new Beta test driver R331.58.
Ok, hope I will get some good news from you/you all.
Already like 8 hours with this new drivers and all its ok and in Geforce forums i read the same, seems like we have finally a fix
Who know, time will tell everything.
Just installed this test driver. Seems to work ok for now. HW acceleration is ON in FF, max performance in Nvidia CP. No problems so far.
just over 24 hours and going fine atm hardware acc is ON and profile left at default adaptive.
hope they intergrate the fix into the newer drivers though these seem to have slightly lower IQ than 331.82
Runing this driver all day long, no problem so far !
Great improvement... hope it will last.
these have improvements in batman AO... call of duty and bf4 too like 331.65 and 331.82? because 331.58 is last driver stable for my gtx 670 amp... with 331.65 and .82 all dx11 games crashes in 20/30 minutes playing...
He said that it is based on 331.58, so it is just a 331.58+a patch with this fix.
And, you really don't need this driver, this fix is for Fermi...
I have added responses from ManuelG to various questions that were posted after this driver. If you want to see them in their original context go to this link and follow the thread.
All is fine for me since 24 hours+...
Firefox HW accel "on"
Powermanagement on "Adaptative"
460GTX Factory OC'ed
Since 21 of November all perfect with this drivers
working fine in windows 8.1 aswell as in windows 7x64
Working fine since 2 days! :eek3:
I've been running these since the 21st and haven't had any issues yet with my 550ti system. I was also able to send in an older crash .dmp from I believe August or so when this all started. Maybe that helped, maybe not.
I haven't heard anything about sending my 550ti in but I guess I won't be needing to now, hopefully. Give it a good month to really know if it's fixed for me.
Not bad, as least the workaround works.
I hope they will know which code is causing this freeze, and get the real fix without increase the temp.
