Oh, you mean desktop environment? No, I don't think so. There's also no need since it's hardly requires any processing power.

 

Desktop environment characteristics are dictated by notebook power requirements mostly. Which is why we lost Aero and other power hungry stuff in Win8+. But yeah, some options for PCs where power is of no concern would be cool.

Well so far it seems unanimous. Everybody in the ARK forums that have tried these drivers agree that they did absolutely nothing to fix the issue.

 

Can confirm myself. Although it did change something, instead of BSOD'ing eventually, now only ARK crashes. Which is an improvement, I guess, just not that much.

 

I downloaded and tested. For now everything works well.

 

Hmm. GSync seems to have stopped working for me on this driver? I did a full DDU uninstall. GTX 1070 - AOC AG271QG.

Even though, if I choose to display the gsync notification for when it's active it does show up, in Apex Legends for example but there's tons of tearing. This didn't happen with official ones. It's a shame because they're performing really really well. Anyone has the same issue? Or know if it can be fixed?

 

Not sure if it's these or the latest patch for Division 2, but, i'm seeing loads of 'back to desktop' crashes.
