    Where?

I'm on 4770k and I didn't see any with meltdown.

I think it was Meltdown, didn't affect CPU performance but random 4k tests (CrystalDiskMark 4k Q32) dropped a lot, I am on 3570k.

Even InSpectre suggests to disable Meltdown for performance, but not to disable Spectre.
"This system's Intel processor does not provide high-performance protection from the Meltdown vulnerability. The use of Meltdown protection on this system will incur some corresponding performance penalty"

I benchmarked all games with meltdown on off and like I said no difference. By spectre I got fps drop by CPU bound games.. e.g. hitman absolution

So I keep meltdown on and spectre off.. guess older cpus have bigger impacts.

The only conclusion i could come to is, with meltdown and spectre patches, somethings it did seem to slow down a lot, and other things, not so much. Like, on actual benchmarks it wasn't too bad, but when getting back into real gaming, i think it really started to show there. Both stay disabled now. But then I'm still on my 2600k, poor old cpu just doesn't like it.

on my laptop with a 1070m it leads to laptop restarting when playing Fallout76... it makes some weird artifact, then the laptop resets totally, WTF

According to a Google Snapshot taken on 27th Oct 2018..

"Monster Hunter World: Corruption is seen when Volume Rendering Quality is set to highest"

    has been changed to..

"Monster Hunter World: Corruption is seen when Volume Rendering Quality is set to off"

Also DCH driver link has been removed.

I just hope they get their act together and listen to our reports.. I want a new r41x.xx branch, but what's good if some games have random crashes, looking at you QuakeChampions.

    Kind of crazy but fo
Forr some reason bumping up my CPU voltage by one increment solved the issue. Super strange as I was 100% stable with no crashes for ages until this driver and it ended up having to do with my CPU? Something is afoot!

That's a defective power management controller.

thats not crazy at all, Driver updates frequently expose weaknesses in cpu overclocks.

the highest instance of this was 337.50, with people crawling from the woodwork about WHEA uncorrectable cpu errors.
