while hpet addresses the benchmark timing issue, the actual cause is dynamicticks

on my evga x55 slimobo i set my pcie bus to 117mhz, this changed my 2xpcie raid0 ssd raid bench speed from 800mb to 1100mb/s rw. but my 770 sli wont even use more than 40% bus at 8x

at 120hz my sata ports disapear and at 125 my system wont post and oc recovery wony kick in, i had to reset the bios manually at that point

It was already confirmed earlier in this thread that this is by design. And I don't see why it should bother anyone either.

Can anyone else confirm that this driver breaks SLI in Red Orchestra 2 (again).

    EDIT: NM, solved it :)

Now if only the white dots with MSAA enabled in WoW were removed. Been this way with any driver. Probably a Blizzard issue but we know that nvidia driver teams tend to try and fix developer issues. So maybe they can pull something out of their arse.

VSYNC when using Fullscreen with DX11 still has issues in many games and benchmarks. You loose approx 7%-10% performance until you do an alt/tab which fixes the issue. The issue is only with a single vid card running. The issue is not present when using SLI.

Getting tired of having to alt/tab when i use any DX11 programs. Even tried drivers that were 2 years old (used my 560ti sli rig to test)and had the same results in single card mode. I don't know if this is a dx11 issue or a driver issue. But again SLI does not have this issue.

just installed and i get directx error on dragon age launch. Also during install i had a long black screen and had to reboot 2 times to make it go away. Switching back to old ones.

It's a game issue not enabling triple buffering. SLI doesn't need triple buffering.

Perfect for Dragon Age ... no more crashes. Initially got DX error but resolved once I reinstalled last DirectX Redist for Win 7. Use Display Driver Uninstaller for clean driver installation.

I thought the Nvidia TB option only worked in OpenGL?

Well here in MaxPyne3 its looks hideous, I played that map before, but I really dont recall seeing that.. I think last time I played i was still @ some early 344.xx driver.

I saw something similar by WatchDogs once, was by one volumetric light reflector inside - even with 4x TXAA, this was still with initial game release and early 340.xx? driver.. I haven't played this game since then, that stutter back then put me off for good.

Why you say that..? You mean that if you have SLI ( I used to have x2 460s ) without triple buffering on as it doens't need as you say) and for example a game loses some fps from your Vsync/target(lets say from 60s to 40-45) it won't go to 30s ? In my knowledge triple buffer is for not cutting to lower degree(60-30-20 etc) as double buffer do with your Vsync.

Anyone else with mouse cursor problems on Windows 10, with GTX 980 @4k?

When I get the text cursor, it changes only to about four dots... Strange, because with the 349.90 drivers, this doesn't happen!

A 2 gpu SLI setup with triple buffer OFF already has 3 buffers (render buffer in gpu 1, render buffer in gpu 2, screen buffer in gpu 1). So you don't need to waste another buffer in gpu 1 to achieve smooth framerate transitions.

Anyone know how these drivers behave on SLI Titan X cards?

Back to 347.88 since i noticed nivida DSR from my GTX 970 was disabled in 350.05 !

I have the latest geforce experience installed 2.4.1 with 347.88 and my games FARCRY 3 & HALF-LIFE: SOURCE are working in DSR @ 2715*1527 sreen resolution.

With latest geforce experience 2.4.1 and 350.05 these same games are @ legacy 1920*1080.

Sad BUG because DSR is main new functionnality of 960/970/980 cards !:bang:

Here DSR works just fine with 350.05 with GTX970 under Win7-64bit.

STRANGE... Seems some OS compatibility bug?
OK on 7 but not on 8.1 ?

Users of 8.1 will confirm ?
