TigerDirect and Newegg are the largest e-tailers for PC components in the US.

NCIX lists Zotac and eVGA as "in stock"...

My point being all those numbers are based on is addition not evidence. Of course I know that's how it works that's why I posted it. But hey, maybe someone else can learn right?

LOL, why not release a dual Maxwell instead then? Higher performance/TDP makes it a no-brainer.

    I give up now

I think dual Titan will be another Asus Mars and not an official one. Probably 3 slots wide for cooling, with full 15 SMX and ridiculously expensive. Still that would allow quad SLI with only six slots occupied instead of eight. Saving PCI slots would actually be the only reason for me to buy a dual card or two, if I had the money for such.

Because we do not know what maxwell is capable of and we do not know what nvidia has planned for maxwell

Every card (Single gpu) that Nvidia has released in the last 10 years has been made into a dual card so i see no reason why it wont happen with Titan.

Its also funny how you and another are the only Titan owners to comment in this thread, seems that the others are all Butt-hurt. (waits for all the other Titan owners to come in screaming and shouting):D

    I very much doubt $499-599 for GTX 780 5GB.
    $649-749 would be my guess.

30% faster than 680, 10% slower than Titan sounds about right.

Yeah it would be good if so cheap, actually imo its not really worth more then 499-550$..

Although the part about AMD VI sounds interesting, so Im guessing VI will be that real 8000 series in Q4 2013? If so even better :D

But if Volcanic Islands comes in Q4 2013 or early 2014, that will still mean it will be on 28nm, no?
The big performance increases usually come with the die shrinks

It's no secret that you almost never benefit by being an early adopter though, especially not for high-end, no matter what industry it is.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radeon_HD_9000_Series

Then there is this CuraƧao XT aka that "real" 8970
    http://www.techpowerup.com/gpudb/1932/AMD_Radeon_HD_8970.html
