hey guys how reliable is this source? I just bought a 660ti yesterday. I can return it inside 2 weeks but it runs so silently, it breaks my heart. Should I return it?

You could always use the GTX 660 for Physx or simply keep it as a spare card.

Lol I saved up and bought a 660 last week to replace my aging 460 768mb. Missed the metro deal by a week and now this news :) Its so true that something new is always coming out but I'm happy with what I got, I can play games @ 1980 now without turning half the effects off to get above 30fps. If my 660 should last me a couple of years like the 460 I will be very happy.

refresh isn't nessecceary, but if nvidia could replace all gk104-106-107 with cut down GK110 with compute power that would be interesting, nonetheless i might get the 780GTX if it should be better than 680 by 30% at least, other reason is that my friend soon gonna buy GTX 670 and i might sell him my 680

I recommend getting a second GTX 660 to use in SLI should you be able to afford to.

Otherwise keep your existing 660, it's still a fast mid range card at a fantastic price.

I'm waiting for the ''Lite'' version of the GTX Titan when the prices drop!

A 5 GB GTX 780 sounds very tempting as an upgrade for my GTX 680 in terms of VRAM but its reported 30% performance increase means that it'd be slower than what I have now unless I buy two.

I've enjoyed having GTX 680 SLI admittedly, far more than my awful HD 5870 CFX experience anyway, but I really want to get back to just having a single GPU setup, mainly because most developers simply don't bother to support SLI/CFX fully anyway except for a handful of major releases. The fact is that 85% of PC games, being multiformat and led on the consoles, run on a single GPU just fine and I have no plans to move up from a single 1920x1200 display anytime soon (and if I do it would only be to a single 2560x1440 display anyway).

I will not be buying a 780.....the difference between titan and 780 @ 500 dollar price point is a rip off.....its ****ty to see a card with so little differences compared to the other enthusiast card, being the Titan. only having 1gb more.... additional stream processors is not going to justify me spending 500 dollars more...keep ripping off your customers.

Titan should cost no more than $ 700.00

Best money ever spent of video cards were the AMD 5870;s @ 400 brand new. 2gb instead of 1 GB...and then you would have a killer card, with a killer plan. getting tired of this memory **** real quick.

Tech, the 5870;s should of only had 2GB

680's should of only be introduced with 4GB.....

and the 780's should have 8GB-12GB along with Titans...

what is the point in investing in SLI or CrossfireX without the correct memory from the get go....your going ot have me by this so called refresh product that is a double up everytime....

u people make me ****ing sick.

Were sill not able to mix and match Video cards.....i have 8 ****ing cards wut do i do with them, to bad i cant run them all to get the performace...why dont they do somthing new like come up with a videocard box array system...you can link 20 cards up or something....were the hell is that tech...better than throwing this **** away.....and when they get to old well, right down the line just pull out the older cards and install newer ones..so all the old 9800GTX's and 5870;s and 680;s can all be mix matched and installed....tell this companies to grow up and do something for the "kids" tired of watching this bull****.

I hope Hilbert still includes the 4xx GTX series in the reviews to compare results. Plenty of people around that want to upgrade their 470 or 480, but are still waiting for that card with a 300 to 500 euro price tag that comes with a worth while performance increase.

i hope the 780 kicks ass in terms of SGSSAA & Downsampling Performance, i'm still considering the GTX 780 or the Titan LE the Titan itself is tooo pricey for me

I have only owned my 670 for a month.
760ti will be faster and cheaper.

    Nvidia didn't even use Lube.
