Are they going to name all cards GTX? I wonder because you can hardly compare performance of GTX650 to 680 or 690.
What are they supposed to do when slower GK107 based card is already carrying GTX moniker? Whats done it's done. Nvidia liked the GTX 550 Ti selling results so they went step further would be my guess. They are going to release this card as the HD7770 competitor, but that still leaves one card missing ie the one that goes against HD7850. So they are still wafer constrained - no other explanation I can think of for not releasing both cards
